This is kinda funny from a tri guy, I remember when all of tri was told to pack up and leave Dek, when there was no one even attacking just roaming through.

Wait, no, it didn't pan out for them. And now, in Dominion, T2 has gone up in price, with HACs in the 150M range for hulls. Most of those ships are impractical to buy and lose when you're effectively unable to rat safely.
We lost, and we're moving on. For the most part, we aren't sentimental about Delve, although it's been inconvenient.

Actually IT ENDED the war because of being over blobbed NOT because they couldnt pay for it, in fact Goons are the only alliance that has lost because they ran out of ISK,..
All you are saying is you lost because economy was bad, just proving that your leadership is worse than we thought, any decent leader will ALWAYS have a backup plan for ANYTHING financial,..

Yes, it is fun.
And that is the point. We don't join Goonfleet to play EVE, we joined EVE to play with Goons. Goonfleet is a place for Goons (somethingawful.com goons) to do whatever they want to do. Whatever they find fun. Scamming isn't mandatory, but it isn't forbidden, because some goons find that fun. Blowing up miners and mission runners in empire isn't mandatory, but it isn't forbidden, because some goons enjoy doing it. Some goons love endlessly speculating about and testing game mechanics, and then writing up lovely PDF documents about what they find, complete with charts and graphs -- and they are allowed to do that. Some goons want to set up a serious business Organizational Chart and have everything pinned down and organized, and they are allowed to do that too. Some goons want to be a part of vast spy networks, or metagame and barely log in at all, and that is totally cool. Some want to hurf blurf about their space empire, and they are welcome to do so. Goonfleet is a place for Goons to do what they want to do.
We work together for some things, like holding space, because it takes a lot of dudes to do that in this game and many goons find it fun. But attending big fleet ops and sov battles is never mandatory, any goon that wanted to go rat or run missions or whatever during the big battles for 49- was free to do so -- at worst you might get nagged or mocked. There is no such thing as a mandatory CTA in goonfleet.
Getting revenge on BoB (for things that happened years before some of us even started playing) and taking Delve were things that some Goons really wanted to do, so most of us pitched in. When the opportunity arose, nearly every goon packed up their stuff, abandoned the systems they had been living in, and piled into Delve. It was pretty fun, despite the grind, and Delve isn't a bad place to live. But then we lost it to something stupid. Well, not the whole thing, but the important core area. Some goons do want to fight for it, but that seems like it would be pretty unfun with the current mechanics. We just aren't emotionally invested enough in Delve to fight for it again -- we did that already. So we are packing up our stuff and leaving Delve en masse, the same way we came.
Some things aren't worth fighting for.

You do know Mittani plans to kick 70% of Goons yeah? Not only that WI and MH probably hate you more than IT, what exactly will Goons do and if you think IT are just going to capture Delve and go inactive well you clearly are a fool,..
TL;DR Goons are dead, if they do stupidily show themselves in 0.0 again, I think we all know who will be there to greet them :P

That's really how it is. We've had more people arguing about where we should move to than whether we should stay or not. Enjoy Delve guys, I hope we didn't **** it up too badly with our space donges. [We sort of did.]

TBH I think about 70% of the goon memberships are inactive trail accounts or nOOb alts (like your corp)so that wouldn't do much harm.

I wonder if any others are feeling the strain of the cost.
