Epic report from AAA perspective. Page 17, that long post from Manfred Sideous.
In case some of you do not read scrapheap there is damn well written report about how it all happened to the goons from the perspective of -A-. I do actually feel a bit sorry for the goons how it is going down, as this is crap way to lose an empire but they would do us the same given the opportunity. It is the way of 0.0 - small mistakes are almost always fatal.

Excellent report Manfred, most excellent! I was bummed I couldn't make the battle because of work, but it sounds like you guys had a blast. Remember, sleep is for chic's!
For all the noob alliances out there, this is how it is done. AAA, IT, SYS-K, UK, and a few others are all good friends and respect each other in a way that most alliances would never understand, said alliances teamed together and got the job done no matter the cost.
Not withstanding, our Atlas brothers are up north with elite Tri guys burning the NC to the ground, and doing a fantastic job of it. They have also took some baddies with them and everyone is doing a great job!
Unlike certain "other" alliances, AAA, IT, Atlas, ROL, SYS-K, Tri, UK, and some others all have each others back. At a drop of a hat, any of said alliances would instantly deploy to help each other. This is what friends do, they help other friends when needed, no matter the cost!

Quote: Rebellion moved a 100 man BS gang to tpar along with 20 carriers to try to stop SysK from getting there TCU online.
Been there with alt, killed Sys-K carriers, never saw a single allied carrier . Nice text overall, but I don't know which other parts are bull**** too, so

Military experts call this a naptrain, but hey, nearly everyone uses allied help nowadays _____________ I don't care what is nerfed, as long as it's not my "undock" button. |

I especially liked the report bcos it was propaganda free as far as I was able to see. As far as holding each other hands and singing in tune goes I am personally more into realism than into idealism. The southern axsis in my opinion is based more on currently common goals than in some deeply shared ideology. And we do have common goal thus helping each other out when able is kinda normal thing to do.
EVE politicks however is like kindergarden with automatic firearms. We are the cool kids for now with biggest stick. Until someone finds either good moment or right stick to give us black eye

He's obviously talking about BoB. They certainly didn't go all out to help their pets, and at most AAA only put in a minimal amount of effort to help them out. MC flipped both ways before BoB kicked them out of Period Basis. BoB was a terrible neighbor to have.
Clearly none of the current alliances share anything in common with BoB or Kenny.

While the epic stories of AAA and IT raping across Goon space like horny bulls was obviously the centerpoint of the story, I couldn't help but notice that Sys-K's actions of the day were less than extraordinary...
Quote: Only 2 problems SysK's fleet was small and underpowered
Quote: Liam from SysK had a harder time of getting adequate numbers and to make matters worse ZAF was blockading TCAG with a medium sized gang and carriers
Quote: SysK's fleet was pretty small
Quote: it was clear the Period Basis front would collapse if not bolstered.
Quote: Liam took 10 carrier losses and heavy subcapital losses protecting the TCU till IT was able to come in with the calvary

Liam told his fleet to log in D-G some hours before 'the event' happened to be ready for the next day already in the system. I can tell you it was ***** to get from there to the unexpected frontlines. CVA guys were happy as clams in that gatecamp towards HED direction and no one could spare the manpower to clear it in that race against time.
I had to abandom my capital pilots scorpion (that i was able to drag to hed with one of my other chars by now) in there and get myself podded 2 times before I was able to get my ship and barely make it for the running towards tpar with caps. All the while I was sill at work and trying to avoid getting caught playing eve while I should not. Had still 5h left on my jump clone timer or it would have been a lot easier. As the capitals were not used in D-G from sys-k side then the damn thing was like I left it after jumping out of 49- with only 7 fighters left on it.
We do have reasonable participation percent most of the time but this one really got us pants down minding our own business in the bushes. With people logging in one by one and trying to get out of D-G. Having one -A- titan there and helping with that was crucial in that as I head, but unfortunately I missed it when it was happening.

That was one hell of a write up, best I've seen in a long long time and of course imagining Goons running around trying to save what they could made it even sweeter.
And to those who talk about naptrains, blobs are a fact of eve these days, if you want to have any impact on the larger arena you need allies.

I am sure I won't be the only one to point out how long Tri stuck it out ( Tri1,2,3,4....)as a stand alone Alliance fighting against the odds only to get out blobbed. I have a feeling the straw that broke this cycle was, yet again, goonies blobbing them in Delve and then ****ting on them for months with 19.27% or whatever.
I guess Tri realized that they needed to "adapt or die....again..." so they grouped together with the other hardcore pvp small Alliances and from what I can tell they are holding thier own now pretty well.
To the Op, Excellent write-up and hopefully ISD does the write up just as well........or just have them cut and paste it.

Can everybody please stop pretending they actually care about blobbing. You only care when you have the smaller blob. As soon as its bigger it's all about "we got friends" and "this is just how you have to win."
