What's a good isk/h number for level fours? What is the best way to increase this? I have been able to get MAYBE 10m an hour in a slow ass Domi but I can use a Megatron and I could probably train for a Tengu if I had to but my skills are all drones and guns.
Basically I don't mind level fours but the isk I am making right now (10m/h) is just absolute garbage. |

Get in a machariel for em. So fast it'll blow your mind. You dont make much missioning though, 30-40m an hour tops with good missions and skills. And your brain will start to melt after a short time of that. |

30-40mil for hi sec mostly, though I do that in a Tengu and doing it in mostly a T2 setup instead of faction BCU's etc, and not doing them effeciently as I am lazy. This is when I do decide to do em. I imagine a well piloted Mach can pull even more isk/h.
Though sometimes that number jumps up higher due to loot drops, especially from faction spawns which happens in some missions. Worlds collide for example. Welcome to Eve. High sec missions don't earn a ton, though it ranges largely dependent on your ISK/LP conversion (i.e., do your research). You can do pretty well if you look outside of high sec. |

So essentially, it's not really worth doing over other stuff unless you somewhat enjoy them. |

there is much to optimise when running lvl4s. if you max out skills, fiitting and lp conversion you can get well over 50m/hr. if you only look at he bounty ticks, you're doing it wrong.

Very true the bounties are only a part of what you earn. LP is another thing, blitzing missions like Recon 1/2/3 for example earns some isk but a lot of LP for the time involved, for me that set of missions take around 5-7min or so, I just do them all in frigates.
Loot/Salvage has gone downhill it's generally not worth bothering with it unless your ship has a free high slot for a tractor beam and large cargo bay, in which case go ahead and loot away the BS/BC and anything else you have time while doing your mission. Since your skills are all drones and guns, perhaps you can invest more time into those? Even a Domi should be able to beat 10m/hour. Are you using T2 drones? Guns? You can potentially make more with other ships, but be aware that any big shift (like to a Tengu or Mach, which use different kinds of guns/ammo) is going to require a lot of time to train to be able to use them properly.

When I missioned I was making 30ish mil an hour in bounties only. Maybe a tad less tbh. I wasn't selective in my missions and I did them as a way to chill, chat, make isk. But if I played for 3 hrs a night it did add up! A long Saturday or Sunday was worth quite a bit indeed. I would save my loot and salvage until I got a storyline mission and then turn in a Badger full of loot. Also a decent chunk of ISK. LP was like a savings account. I just let it add up and up.
Level 4's are not the best ISK, but they are steady and easy. The time commitment is easy too. When your tired, finish the mission and log off.
I used a CNR, not the best ship, though I never tried any others. (Golem briefly) CNR did fine for what I wanted. Mach is the mission king if my sources are correct atm.

What's a fast gallente ship for doing it? I have tried them in a Domi but the dual LAR fit with dual 250 rails is sooooooooooooo slow without t2 sentries.
Would it be worth cross training to minimitar if I am mostly gunnery and already have min cruiser 4 to fly the arty maelstrom? |

at least that, I can get 10m bounty ticks in my ishtar, granted its not constant, but thats 10m in 20 mins, giving lots of time to make a bit more and that should be able to coast out at least 10m/hour even getting a bunch of bad missions. |

I don't have cash that's why I am doing level fours ;)
So a Maelstrom should make 40/50m an hour roughly? this is kind of my default figure I need to support a PvP habit, Can I fly one with t1 fitting in 4s? |

While a great ship, the domi is usually one of the slower mission ships, fit out for 350 rails and a magstab though and it can get a bit faster.
megas i have often found to be slower because of tank issues, even a nice cap boosted navy i was using for a while had issues in some missions.
my kronos on the other hand, can often make 50 mil an hour. i just dont blitz missions like that so its usually around 30. completely salvaging a mission reduces your isk/hour rates by quite a bit. often back to ten mil / hour
getting a noob in a dessy to follow you around can raise the isk per hour a lot if you have them salvage everything for you, though a solo combat ship will leave them waiting at gates while you run through waves of spawns.
when i had a friend in a drake with me the isk per hour got up to 70 but it was split between the two of us at a 40/30 rate. however we ran through the missions fast enough to keep the salvager happy, and because of the number of missions we were able to reject, we kept going longer then then either of us solo.
a low skilled mael wont make 40/50 unless you know what you are doing with the specific missions. often you will want a shuttle and a stabber fleet around as well. some missions can be blitzed in a shuttle and others can be done in a sfi. both will be faster then the bs flying through. a t1 mael will eat a lot of ammo and be around the same time frames as the higher skilled domi (if its more a drone setup)
Move up to a navy mega, or conversely run l3 in an ishtar or other hac. ten mil is low around where i was in l3.
I still suggest going for a marauder over cross training to the other ships and weapons systems. The mach will run you around the same price as the kronos hull and the fittings are comparable. maelstrom is a fairly different skillset too. so i hope you can shield tank and run t2 large autos. (if you want to run one well)
Its not possible to please all the people all the time, but it sure as hell is possible to Displease all the people, most of the time.

Yea, that's another issue, I can't afford a better ship because of how slow the domi is haha.

Dual 250 rails? Work on Your fitting skills. Until then, changing ship or cross training wont help. |

Your fit didn't have a propulsion mod so will only be suitable for a few missions where you don't have to do much travelling between the gates but it can be improved like this:
[Dominix, Serp Ratter armor] Large Armor Repairer II Armor Kinetic Hardener II Armor Kinetic Hardener II Armor Thermic Hardener II Armor Thermic Hardener II Drone Damage Amplifier II Drone Damage Amplifier II
Heavy Capacitor Booster II, Cap Booster 800 Cap Recharger II Tracking Computer II, Tracking Speed Script Federation Navy Omnidirectional Tracking Link Federation Navy Omnidirectional Tracking Link

Large Sentry Damage Augmentor I Large Sentry Damage Augmentor I [empty rig slot]
Garde II x5
Use specific hardeners and drop the EANM. You know what damage you will be taking. You are devoting 7 mods / rigs to cap where the above uses 2, freeing up 5 for improving isk / hr Don't trigger the triggers prematurely and you won't need double large armor repairs. Double armor repair fits are for when you deliberetly agro the whole room and then go afk whilst your heavies go to town.
T2 gardes make a big difference as in the above fit they hit out to 50km whereas T1 only hit out to 40.
To make the above fit "shine" you need to have some high SP skills at 5. BS 5, Sentries 5 and Drone Interfacing 5 which is 2-3 months. T2 guns arn't nowhere near as important |

If you do stick to Gallente then the Navy Issue does get respectable DPS if you switch to a shield fit.
Again there's no propulsion mod so only suitable for a few missions or cosmic anomalies

Does 988 dps out to 50km which is similar to a mach at that distance. Difference is the mach will close quickly and then do another 100-200 dps at close range. |
