Currently training for Marauders and I started AWU V a few days ago. Aside from ships that have AWU V as a prerequisite(Marauders), what's a fit that you couldn't have done without training AWU to V?
Mostly I ask because I want to know some fitting ideas for the other ships I own that would be an upgrade I couldn't have done without maxing this skill. |

I cant get my fitting right now. but without AWU 5 I cant fully fit out a HAM Tengu with MWD without it, unless I want to use 5% PG implant and a PG rig as well. And my 100mn AB Tengu is alot easier to fit with AWU 5 as well.
there's alot of fits that can be done without the AWU 5, but you give up an Implant slot and/or Rig + the extra cost. |

I have dozens of fits that are 2-4% over on PG even WITH AWU V.
No matter what you think, you can ALWAYS use more powergrid/CPU, train AWU V, you wont regret it. |

280mm arty Jaguars are a blast, and very difficult to fit without AWU 5. Whether or not you win the game matters not. -áIt's if you bought it. |

As well as proper tanked Tornado/1400 fit & the typical Dual heavy neut/800 ac Tempest..
The Nanno Drake fit I use also require ADU V.. Even many frig fits require it to get the max out of them. |

Im pretty sure I needed AWU 5 for my megathron fit, my talos fit, as well as some deimos fits, and most of my taranis/enyo fits. My reaction to the tier system and skill tree overhaul https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=899560#post899560 |

This.
It's fairly pointless asking about proof that AWU 5 is useful. It's much better just to accept as fact that you want as much powergrid and CPU as you can get, because it enables you to fit more flexibly.

LOL Hater.
Basically because it needs the grid if you are going to use arties, ACs are just stupidly easy to fit, all of them. |

pretty much all gallente and caldari subcaps need it. (minmatar fittings are OP, amarr runn into CPU issues more than PG generally.) all ships fitting long range guns need it.
