Which ship can be made to go the fastest without any MWD or AB. What would the basic fit be and what would it's top speed be when fully skilled?

Probably the fastest ship with an AB/MWD... I cannot think of any ships that specifically get a bonus to MWD/AB and both of them just work as speed multipliers

I use a vigil, with gd skills get 600ms, add mwd and over heat get about 7kms

When I'm going shopping for small stuff, I use this fit. It's cheap, has 120m3 wint a can in it (I keep two Cargo Expander 2s inside to bump it to 227m3 when I need to), and goed 621m/s base and 3500m/s+ with the MWD on.
It's not intended to be the absolute fastest, but it lets me AP out to grab those last two modules for my fit while I watch TV and moves fast enough that it's close to manual speed without the hassle (I usually just burst the MWD to close if I notice it).

With no MWD or AB, Claw will go 741m/s with HG snakes.

Try fitting some overdrives on it......
Unless eft is bugges as hell, you get 800+ even without the snake set

Those who say Claw are right. Although Ares is only a bit slower (971 m/s without speed rigs) and has a higher warp speed.

I don't have EFT right now, as I'm at work, but isn't the dramiel in that speed class?

The dramiel is so fast due to it's low weight mainly, while a fair bit faster with added thrust it's slower without anything added(although barely). It does get an extra rigslot, but lacks a low, so...
