Hi all
so Im having some issues fitting some ships that are short in CPU. I know I can train up electronics 5 for a +5% each level, and already fitted some Co-Processor II.
Apparently theres not much more to do?? What does "electronics upgrades" skill exactly do?
I wonder if there's any skill that reduces guns/tank cpu needs, as there are for powergrid needs.

What you probably need is Weapon Upgrades.

Some riggings (like launcher riggings) can also use a lot of CPU because of the drawbacks if your skill is low. Training to reduce the drawbacks on such rigs can free up a lot of CPU, especially when you have 2-3 rigs fit.

It lowers the cpu requirements of electronics upgrade modules: sensor boosters, signal amplifiers, eccm (backup arrays).
Same goes for cpu requirements of energy grid upgrades (modules) when skilling the skill with that name.
There's no skill for lowering tank cpu needs, but you can still use (expensive) faction gear. Some of those modules have significantly lower cpu requirements.

CPU and Power Grid are things that CCP uses to "balance" ships, so there aren't that many options for improving them by a huge amount.

I assume you are flying Frigates/Destroyers and Cruisers. As you go to bigger ships and when you get to train Electronics v you will find its not an issue until you want to fit a lot of Tech 2. As said, named modules often have less CPU as well and often don't cost that much unless they are weapons.
You want to avoid using Co-Processors if you can as they take up a valuable slot.
