INTAKI PRIME ù Speaking today from his corporationÆs public office in the Astral Mining space station orbiting Intaki Prime, Intaki Liberation Front Suresha Saxon Hawke publicly confirmed that the ILF is investigating a report that one of its members appears to be violating corporation policy and providing intelligence to the Caldari militia.
ôIn light of the allegations that have been made against the ILF as æCaldari collaborators,Æ we have been taking a close look at our membership,ö Hawke said. ôOver the weekend I received information that a member of the ILF may have violated our policy of neutrality.ö
Hawke said the identity of the offending pilot hasnÆt yet been determined, but the list of suspects is being narrowed. Hawke said he was disappointed to think that someone claiming to be loyal to the Intaki cause would undermine the effort, but added that the action could actually be the work of a mole in his organization.
ôAs with most political organizations, the ILF is often the target of espionage and subversion by authoritarian powers,ö Hawke said. ôWhen they cannot find proof that we do the horrible things they accuse us of, they plant someone in our midst to do those things.ö
In addition, he said, the ILF has issued an internal memorandum reminding pilots of the ILFÆs policies regarding the factional conflict and more clearly detailing the punishment for offenders.
Hawke went on to say that the ILFÆs rules of engagement are open for public observation and can be read at http://www.ilfcorp.com/ilf-roe.html. He noted that any ILF member caught supplying war intel to any member of any militia will be removed from the corp and labeled for life as a criminal to the ILF.
ôA sovereign Intaki will not be able to stand if it is beset by either the Federation or the State,ö Hawke said. ôI firmly believe it is only through peaceful negotiation that we will find ultimate success. Anyone within our organization who jeopardizes such negotiation is an enemy of the Intaki people and will be treated as such.ö
This new punishment draws a much harder line than previously implemented. In the past, those who violated the ILFÆs rules of engagement were given the choice of becoming compliant or leaving the corporation.
ôThe ILF finds itself increasingly caught between the two major powers operating in Intaki Space,ö Hawke said. ôAs such, we have found it necessary to be more emphatic in maintaining our neutral position. The court of public opinion seems desperate to paint us Caldari collaborators or Federal apologists. Our policy of neutrality is the only hope we have to ensure the voice of the Placid Intaki are not swallowed up amongst the cries for blood.ö

Why am I not surprised to see that the vocal opposers of the ILF will gladly take the time to respond to any thread that has to do with us EXCEPT for the thread that is trying to improve relations.

Who has accused the ILF of being Federal apologists. References please?

Saxon's misguided allegiance to preserving ties to the Federation are the anchor that drags down our movement. If he were to use his influence and connections to rally his allies against the Federation, it would hasten the creation of a free and independent Intaki.
Instead he encourages his corp members to seek employment from Federation agents, he maintains close ties to the Federation Navy and Senate and, worst of all, he continues to negotiate for peace with the terrorists who hide within the FDU.
And what does all this effort to keep in the good graces of the Federation bring him? Nothing. It is a waste of his time and a detriment to the effort to free the Intaki people to govern themselves.
In truth, the only thing more disturbing than the way he begs for Federation approval is the way he so willingly befriends the Caldari invaders.

What have you done besides vocalize your distaste for Saxon Hawke's ideology? Point is guy, I do not care for the Gallente Federation. I have an even bitter dislike for the CEP and the Caldari State as a whole.
I disagree a whole lot about Saxon's methods. Of which, Saxon could and would tell anyone. Matter of fact, I can't find a single Nation or Corporation in Eve or Capsuleer alliance that alligns even 75% with my personal ideology.
I would sooner set Caldari and Gallente, and Amarr and Minmitar militia to KOS and tell em to stay the **** out of Placid and Syndicate. Sadly, manpower shortages would lead it to not going anywhere.
There is some truth to what Saxon Hawke does. You can't go around blowing **** up and expect to find allies and friends. Unless of course your goals in life are to have nothing more than a fully stocked hangar of Angel Cartel ships fitted with the fanciest modules and rigs ISk can buy.
There are alternatives to xenophobia. Even when your disdain for a culture of Collectivism such as the Caldari. Or a culture of Hedonism and undeserved patriotism from the Gallente. You can as always find middle ground.
Middle ground to build a center battle line. From which to strike forward. If that analogy is too hard for you. I can dumb it down for you.

On this, at least, we can agree.
