Right heres the deal, I'm back in EvE after taking about a year and a half out, and my stuff is spread right across the entire damn map, across two accounts, two characters.
What's the best way of getting all my stuff sorted out in one place so I can see what I've got? I'm pretty sure both my characters can fly Tech II haulers, and both have a couple sitting about in stations somewhere.
One character can fly Charons IIRC, but unless I happen to have one hidden away in my piles of stuff, I cant afford to buy one right now, I only have about 70 million iskies, which is why I want all my stuff in one place, so I can sort throguh it and sell all the piles of junk I've acquired ove the years that I don't immediately need, and get some liquid cash in.
Yes, I understand that this might sound like a really stupid question to some, but after such a long absence I can't remember how to do anything in EVE, last night I spend about 15 minutes trying to figue out how to buy a new clone, untill some kind sould told me I need to be in a station with a med-bay.
Any help appreciated.

could always use couriers through contracts to haul most stuff, just put a decent amount of collateral so that should they decide they want it instead you get paid for it
You guys make squeeky noises when you pop, and that's enough motivation as far as I'm concerned. |

CCP invented the search button under 'assets'....
Its to get more button in the game, and less out the game, because someone might click the wrong one like 15 minutes ago..... -- JSkywalker

Another thing you could try, is EvEHQ's Prism module. You can set it up with the APIs for both your accounts and browse through all of it from there, without even having to log in!

I flew to each station that had something of worth, sold it off and moved to the next using the asset window to try to keep a good route plan. Anything smaller than a cruiser or not a techII/insanely expensive named mod merely got trashed, specifically if it was say, 7 jumps out from where I was.

In game, there is a search option in the assets window.
Out of game you can get a list of assets and useful info with the application jeveassets ~ Soar Like a Penguin |

Oooh, jEVEassets is very nice, thanks for the link to that. On the downside it says that I have no Charon, , on the positive side if its total Value is anywhere near correct, I have loads of iskies one I get some of this junk sold.
So I guess the best thing for me to do would be to get both my characters in Tech II haulers (the fat ones, not the quick ones) and just drive about tonight in a gang and lift it all up, and dump it somewhere vaguely centralised, whatever trade hub, not Jita if its anywhere near as laggy as it used to be.
How accurate is that Total Value thing in jEVE?
I appear to have a load of stuff in a few 0.0 stations, would the best thing be for me to just package that all up as a big contract and slap some sort of reasonable price on it to save me going there?

The value on normal market items is generally accurate enough. It's taken from http://www.eve-central.com/. Occasionally it will overestimate values due to irregularities in sales prices (600m destroyers etc) but if you have a look in values for your best assets and ships it should be clear what is amiss.
It doesn't calculate blueprints correctly so if you have a ton of bpc's it may be valuing them as bpo's inaccurately. Furthermore, contract only items (faction, deadspace, officer) have no values listed so you will have to find their values individually.
For 0.0 stuff the best bet is to try and sell ships and valuable items individually but if you just want rid of it, a hanger clearout contract will do fine. These tend to be auctions starting fairly low to attract interest. ~ Soar Like a Penguin |

You can do auctions now? I didn't know/remember that.
I've got one station in 0.0 that has about 1/2 bill of stuff in it, no ships, just a ton of Tech II fittings and modules, salvage mats and whatever other worthwhile named stuff the rats dropped. If I just make an auction of that lot and stick the start bid at 100 million, that should get rid of it aye?
Saves me going into 0.0 anyway, form what I remember the closest lowsec gate you use to get to that station was always camped, and I doubt thats changed.
The highsec stuff I'll just amble about in my haulers and pick up as I go, stick a film on at the same time or something. If I make a gang with my haulers, I can warp them both at the same time can't I? I just need to go the game jumps in each client seperately?
