I got a corp that have good faction standing to amar and Caldari. and i dont do any mission with the characters in corp now. ( i bought this corp with the standings)
And i want to invite a friend to that corp, is there a way he can do missions without ruin the corps standings? i.e can he do regulare missions and just dont do the storylines?
I tried posting on the mission board but no one had any answers there..

It's based off of the average standings of the corp members.
As long as he does not gain personal standing with whatever faction you want to stay high your corps standings will remain unaffected.
If he does gain personal standings then that will change the average for the corp.

It doesn't matter ANYMORE if you do any missions or not, that was changed a good while ago. Now, in 7 days after a character joins a corp, his standings start applying regardless of activity or inactivity in the standings sector. So if you bought the corp with the high standings but ANY of the current corp members has any standings towards amarr/caldari at all, 7 days after that character joined your standings will go to hell in a hand-basket... so hurry up and put up whatever towers you want to, because soon you won't be able to do that anymore. Of course, you can always kick everybody with any standings out every 6 days and accept them back, but that's a pretty pathetic thing to do constantly.

If you have no standings with that faction/corp, then you join a corp, you won't affect the corp standings. It's only if you actually have standing or gain standing that will affect corp.
If your corp has no standing with Caldari Navy, and I join...my standings will now be refelcted in the corp standings. If the corp has standings with CN, and I join, then my standing is averaged with the corp standing.

So, you mean, you DO have a character that has been in the corp for more than 7 days and DOES have non-null standings with either Amarr or Caldari, but your corp standings haven't changed to the actual average yet, and you're sure it's not just a caching issue ? Weird.

i have had the corp for months and not changed, i also have joined in characters later on with standings but kept away from doing missions on any of them.
what i am wondering if i dont accept any missions that affect the factions (storyline or regulare missions against other factions) will the regulare missions (guristas, serpentis etc) will that affect corp standings to any factions?

That is interesting if true, and it frankly goes against common public understanding on how it works.
Would you post a small cut of screenshot showing the standings composition for one of the affected faction? Also include another screenshot for one of the corp where every member has some standings.
If true, it's possible the update cycle didn't kick in because everything was kept in stasis, which is odd. |

Master Kent's slave? Who Akita or Master Kent? .... Whatever your bone is with Akita/Master Kent, my interest is strictly academic.
It's always amusing to see someone posting for help in Sci & Indy coming down with an attitude, where one would expect a more courteous approach.
Standings mechanics
"The text displayed in the "Show Compositions" window has been changed to read "NPC standings towards a player corporation are calculated from the average of all members' individual standings. Only members that are in the player corporation for more than seven days straight count toward the standing average." Link
