--Alliance Wallet / Tax--
The functionality of alliance management is currently a tedious chore for most, in which those that run them spend most of their time establishing logistics and gathering money from their corporation counterparts.
A designated corporation as executor SHOULD be able to establish a tax for everyone under the alliance in which the money would be held under an Alliance Wallet.

While I agree... I don't like the prospect of alliance taxation being a percentage... potentially 100%.
Just a comment at best. ========================= CEO of Shadow Cadre http://www.shadowcadre.com ========================= |

Yeah, this makes sense. Alliances need some more structure than they have at present. An alliance wallet - preferably with a few dozen divisions, instead of 7 - would be a nice addition.

Then don't join such an alliance. It doesn't seem any worse to me than the idea of a 100% corp tax.

Also maybe an option for a monthly fixed tax instead of/ in addition to percentage tax. I've been in at least two alliances/corporations that require monthly fix taxes on top of the percentage tax. It would be nice if there was a system, similar to bill payment system, that allowed for corps/alliances to set monthly taxes on members, if only to help simplify what it already being done in game.

I support this idea. Maby the ability to do a percentage tax, like take a percentage of the corp tax, like when a corp tax is 10% and the allaince tax is 1% then the allaicne tax takes from the corp tax.

I support this idea 100%. It would be so simple to get the taxes and would make sure that executor corps are not relying on member corps to send the isk all the time. Great idea i hope that this is put into effect. Rothschildia Cinctan CEO Ihatalo Navy Ihatalo cartel navy alliance |

Sounds groovy. The tax thing though, maybe a way to auto-collect alliance fee's like an office rental style? Just a thought ;)

If implemented there would have to be a way to prevent corp and alliance taxes to summing to more than 100%. Perhaps have the alliance take a chunk of corp taxes.

I see a problem with this idea: it will tax again the same people that are taxed at corporation level and not tax the same people that avoid the tax at the corporation level.
If it was something like a per head tax levered on the corp wallet it would probably be more balanced, as the corp would then see that the member give some for of contribution (work or isk or whatever they want) worth his presence in the corporation.
So, supported as a general idea, not as a percentage of the NPC rewards and bounties as for the corp tax.

Awsome idea Thumbs up.
Gonna have to add on to what you said. With the Alliance tax you could set it up similar to that of the corporate tax. It only taxes members that get Mission rewards, and bounties. Any loot sales etc. is excempt. However instead of the Individual member of the "corp" getting taxed the corp itself that is taking the Income from its members gets the tax for its income excluding member donations etc. (no double taxation) So for example if you have an alliance that has say 5 member corps which is costing you 10mil isk a month to support. Each of the corps have a tax rate of say close to 10% and you set your Alliance tax at 10% the alliance though is taking only 10% of the 10% taken from the corp members income it doesn't add to the corp members losses to his or her corp. Got a little math below.
Alliance 10% tax 18.3mil income from corps over the month corp 1 10% tax 40mil income from members over the month corp 2 5% tax 6mil income from members over the month corp 3 15% tax 135mil income from members over the month corp 4 1% tax 2mil income from members over the month corp 5 0% tax 0 income from members over the month
I'm sure taxes and numbers would vary over time but at least you get an idea what I think would be a great addition to this discussion. If you set it to stack onto the taxes already being paid by members of a corp and you have a member corp that is charging 100% tax and then your alliance is charging 100% tax you would be paying not only the reward into either corp or alliance but you would be paying the same amount out of your pocket to one of the two. If you restrict it to a certain percentage you basically loose the reason for request it. The Alliance tax would be great to cover the transactions that the alliance may take on as a whole rather then just the exec paying for it all. Lots of other ways to look at it like I have in my quote from Venkul mul. You could charge per head a set price which is then set by the alliance to the corp to pay though you could run into an alliance charging 1mil per member per month and that alliance gets say a 400 member corp that would be a cost of 400mil per month. Which would be like decing an alliance for 2 months though I'm sure the 400 member corp could easily afford the cost lol. Though I really would like to see if the corp can't afford its automatically removed from the alliance and the assets that are in alliance possession are impounded. Bunch of possibilities with this idea.

I support this topic. For IT, even the IEEE and ICC (International Color Consortium) in real world activities is ultimately funded by corporation membership. While a company does not need to adhere to such organizations, it is founded to be more damaging to them than proactive if not. Why, in this game we would make an exception is to only constitute greed or fear. Change is what makes this game fun, and change is what should be welcomed.

Having the option for an automatic bill or a tax would save a lot of boring out-of-game paperwork needing to be kept by alliance heads.
