So I'm in Jita. .. living my life happily.
A dude comes into local, offers loans, it's a loan contract scam and I see it coming from miles away. I take a screenshot of the conversation and the offered scam contract, considered an exploit here.
I report the dude, because I haven't gotten laid in a while. The GM replies that it would be a normal scam and not an exploit. I saw this coming, that's why I PUT THAT LINK INTO THE PETITION.
AND a link to the screenshot. I tell him what I think of his response, and the next reply states that by the information he has recieved, loan contract scams are no longer considered an exploit.
Where's the official statement about that?
tl;dr version: NO I did NOT fall for a scam, I'm gathering policy info.
Are loan contract scams still a scam or not?

This.
Also not going by 2+ year old news items for your information would be a good idea. Although knowing CCP...actually...especially knowing CCP...just don't go by 2+ year old news items.

Entirely depends on what kind of loan scam it was. The news item you posted claim that making use of flawed mechanics in loan contracts is an exploit – not that scam loans in general are. ——— “If you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡… you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.” — Karath Piki |

I mean the one where the price of the contract is higher than the loan.

Hard to tell – as usual, CCP don't tell you what flaws in the mechanics it is you shouldn't exploit. ——— “If you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡… you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.” — Karath Piki |
