Well I have to say this, I really enjoyed the battle, as I always do. I have a great respect to all Minnies that came to fight along side our SF brothers. We at ROSS will always fight as its what we live to do.
Our unity is strong, our desire is high and our ability is second to none. BE WARNED enemies!!!

Aaah, it felt good to stretch my space legs again, after so long. It seems I haven't forgotten how to properly aim my turrets, even after all this time I spent in the jungles (and mostly on the beaches) of my old homeworld.
Always a pleasure to read your reports, Jade, my old friend. ____________

Congratulations Jade, my love. Delicious piece of literature as always, and very accurate to the facts. I had the pleasure to once again see battle unfolding, it's the second time that you have asked me to travel from my business office to you before such battles, and perform a Sani Sabik ritual to bless your good fortunes. Both times with excellent results.
Have another kiss from my lips my delicious free captain and may many victories as such continue to be under your command. Know that I'm always very proud of your deeds at space.

Superb work Darveses. Its very evocative. The lyrics are perfect.
This is a song for a son This is a song for a sailor The son I never had This is a song for a kid This is the song for a tailor Who stitched up my old heart Who stitched up my old heart
And I am one of many, many more to come, many more to come And I am one of many more, many more to come, many more to come
This is a song for a dove This is a song for a blown out bird The kind that don't return to the nest This is a song for a star This is a song for a space invader Who flew into the sun Never to return Never to return
And I am one of many, many more to come, many more to come And I am one of many more, many more to come, many more to come
This is a song for a son This is a song for a sailor The best I ever had He sailed without map This is a song for a kid This is the song for a tailor Who stitched up my old heart Who stitched up my old heart Before I broke it all apart
And I am one of many, many more to come, many more to come And I am one of many more, many more to come, many more to come
You daughters of the revolution Carry back your sons Carry them back home You daughters of the revolution Carry back your sons Carry them back home

Something about those Sani Sabik rituals have an effect on the mind perhaps. The armour integrity of the enemy vessels is best dealt with by turrets and missiles. THAT, is deeply sexy

Sometimes its difficult to measure success, but not this time hey friends. We returned to Kamela wreathed in laurel, having protected some 38 thousand recently freed sisters and brothers.
Equally matched we're trading blows and coming off better than the foe. The tide only turned against us when two enemy carriers arrived on the field, and we beat a tactical retreat. We then warped in off our covert scout to hit the carriers at optimal, and I swear each crewman, who pressed the -SF-IncisorĘs eight neuts to the throats of those carriers, could feel the life blood of those lumbering giants coagulate in their veins.
That night padding barefoot, ichor like honey in my hair, through the corridors of our Abaddon, the -SF-Incisor, hugging, shaking hands, cracking out the ships rum to those of the crew inclined. The tears of relief begin to fall, hugging, kissing, crying, dancing; we can all recall the spectacular defence of Space and Freedom IV in frozen images, a glamour of the gestalt of brotherhood, of hope, and finally of victory. Completely unlike the staccato of combat the horrifying tattoo of fire and vibration. I rase my glass in a toast to the qualities of among others our beloved fellows and leaders Saul, Jade, Clovnea and Raven.
We will continue our war of attrition, choking the slavers of providence. They who are surrounded by lickspittle allies, locked in and unable to expand, having all but handed their space over to intensive industry, at the expense of, and to the neglect of an effective military. The sumo of the holderĘs military has grown stupid and flabby on power and privilege - on surety and tithe: on empty promises.
We call on all our friends, for it's there that our power resides in the hearts of those that love freedom.

Yes, good article, once several glaring factual errors had been reported and fixed. Is it really that hard to check DED databases to see which corporations pilots are affiliated with? Poor fact-checking and proof reading, but given a little time and a few nudges, he can provide a rather excellent article indeed.

well either way, it was good to see the reporting give both sides a chance to speak. A few minor links and such were off, but nothing is perfect in New Eden.
I much prefer news that has both sides and has a few minor discrepancies than one-sided pieces where the bias of the reporter oozes through every sentence.

I felt it was a pretty good news report and a credit to the reporters. And also a nice historical piece that shows the last major offensive action undertaken by the Sev3rance alliance in recent times.
