What happens when a corp that owns a TCU and IHUB in a system leaves the alliance they are in? Who then owns and can re-online the TCU and IHUB?
This is a bit confusing.

Sovereignty Guide
According to this, (FYI, never been in null-sec, but I can research), When the corp leaves the alliance, the TCU will go offline. Therefore, I assume the sovereignty will be lost on the system and the IHUB will go offline when the TCU does (as it has to have an online TCU to operate).
The units would still belong to the corp I take it. Confirmation would be warrented here, no experience from my POV just going off research.

Yeah, the general view is that the corp would retain ownership of them - but nobody has definitively been able to verify this.
I guess the other question would be whether any purchased upgrades for the IHUB would be lost, too. |

It used to be that the POSes claiming Sov still belonged to the corp.
If said corp then joined/formed a new Alliance, the POSes would then claim sovereignty for the new Alliance.
I don't know if that's still the case with TCUs.
Best way to find out would be to try it on Sisi. ______________________ Agony Unleashed Home of the PvP University. |

My corp recently did this with our TCU, we left our old alliance and joined our new one, TCU remained under the corps control and went offline as soon as we left. Upon Joining we were able to online it again.
IHUB, not 100% sure but I think if you leave you *might* lose the upgrades.

Hopefully the upgrades won't be lost considering their cost, but - oh well. Guess we'll have to find out the hard way. |
