TL:DR Goonies self-destruct ships over Earth by "Initiating Combat" before self destructing. Self Destructing was deliberately disabled in this area apparently so many people are calling it an exploit. Though i have no idea what, if any, consequences it has beyond a pretty light show. They then had various Klingon alts tell various klingons to accept bridge-invites from complete strangers for "Epic items", meaning Goonies had various Klingons "Trapped" because the minute they spawned some Goonies would just INstagib them meaning they couldn't reach the location needed to leave (Though from what i understand they could have just logged out/changed instances?) A GM then said "So long as they accept the bridge-invite of your own free will its OK gameplay wise" or something along those lines. The thread was epic whine, and while Eve is large enough to absorb the Goon mentality within its gameplay framework, STO players are aghast that their sacred Jim Kirk universe can be defiled. EVERYONE SEEMS NORMAL UNTIL YOU GET TO KNOW THEM.

No matter what the goonies did in eve it was simply serving the game mechanics and passe' regardless of how much tears it generated because well thats what we do in eve. Make people cry by following the game mechanics. So all the goonies ever acmomplished was to make eve a funner place to be. In sto however all those thin skinned noobkirks are like the docile teary sheep the goonies could never find in eve and the baawing is reaching epic levels.
