Don't know if this would pass or if anyone would be up for having a Elite Mass Production so people can have more than 9 build slots for manufacturing, there is a ton of bpc/bpos and it takes a long time for the industrialists to make the final product when they are busy making ram and other materials. What does everyone else think? |

I think this would be a bad idea as stated.
Might be a bit better to just have faster building instead of more slots. |

9 isn't the cap - 11 currently is. 1 free base, 5 from Mass Prod, 5 from Adv Mass Prod.
That said, while I'd love the ability to increase my per-character slot count, this would reduce the casual industrialist's reliance on others/alts, and thus would be unlikely to be added. |

You can double it with an alt, or triple it with two alts. Per character it's enough as it is. |

I don't like the idea either. In many cases the market is so overflooded that only a few things worth to manufacture. The fact that training alts takes away the training time from the main keeps away a lot of people from mass production. If the number of manufacturing jobs would be increased, it would decrease the profit margin on all items so at the end you have to do a lot more clickfest for the same (or a little bit more) profit.
If you are taking seriously research and manufacturing just do what everybody else: train up your alts. |

theres currently so mutch oversuply that people use production alts to create compressed mats by building stuff just to ship minerals so they can be scraped and turned into what they realy wanted to make in the first place. |

as Abditus Cularius stated, its a maximum of 11 per char atm.
but why the hell would anyone increase the output of products that one char can manufacture? the economy in eve is already based on over production, so if you want go give Industrialists "more power" you would rather want to make it harder to build more items in the same time. it would just lower the already really low margin as the profit would just split on even more products.
As long the demand on goods stays the same, you really dont want to increase the number of build goods either |

Players accounts and have upto 3 toons, so if you want more manufacturing slots use a 2nd or 3rd character.
For 10 slots AND perfect manufacturing costs (production efficiency V) is only 32 days. Thats 30 manufacturing slots per account. Or just 13 days for 9 slots and production efficiency IV.
And if you are constantly running your maximum number of manufacturing jobs with your main account than chances are you can afford to plex a 2nd account. Last thing we need to do is make it so the established players who control a large portion of the market all ready able to have 3600+ more hours per month per character per account. |
