Besides the obvious Anchoring skill, what else should I be looking at in terms of skills for POS building?
I haven't asked my corp because I don't want to get their hopes up if it turns out to be a path I don't want to choose, and I don't even know if someone who can do that is useful in a corporation these days - maybe it's one of those skills everyone but me has.
I'm looking as spending a year with high Charisma and I noticed that most/all of the Corporation Management skills use Charisma as one of their stats. My current skillplan isn't quite a year long and so I need to fill it with Charisma-related skills in order to make it worthwhile to max Charisma until my next remap.
Here's what I think I know so far, please correct me if I'm wrong.
Anchoring, to anchor each piece of a POS in place. Multiple Corporation members can anchor in one POS because there is some sort of limit to how many items you can have anchored. Starbase Defense Management (is that name right?) which I think allows you to anchor guns? EWAR? I assume it's for the defensive modules I see on the outside of most POSes. Connections, in case I ever want to build a POS in highsec/lowsec (doubtful but it can't hurt to have some skills there).
In addition to those three skills I am currently building up the skills needed to fly a Freighter (and, later, a Jump Freighter) which will allow me to haul fuel and parts for the POS.
What else should I be looking at?
Thanks.

...there are so many blatantly incorrect statements in this thread, it almost has to be a troll.

Anchoring 3 - Allows you to anchor everything.
Starbase Defense 4 - Allows you to control POS defenses. Optional if you don't intend to defend, or are not online much.
Scientific Networking 1
Supply Chain Management 1
Don't remap for charisma. It ain't worth it.

Ya...In addition, a single control tower can online ONE module at a time, or anchor one module at a time (Not both at the same time). You could have ten corp members doing it at once, and still only get one at a time per control tower. A single member could anchor 1000 modules if they were bored enough to do it. For some reference, it can take hours to put up a properly defended POS. It's an agonizing process, that forever opens your corp up to the threat of war decs to have it destroyed if you don't watch it.
And yeah...don't charisma remap. At most, willpower remap, iirc, as most skills are willpower primary charisma secondary.
Also, you don't build POS's, per se. You buy them from NPC's, then anchor them in space, if that's what you mean.

Anchoring: some modules require lvl 3 to anchor them.
Starbase Defense Management : Determines how many guns/modules you can personaly aim at some target. 1 per level .
Hi-sec POS is determined by your Faction standings . Which is mostly earned by doing missions for a particular faction . You could also hire a corp service to make a corp for you with good standings.
If you have a lo-sec or 0.0 POS, skills that you might consider will be : Covert Ops and Blockade Runner , to get fuel to the tower safely .
Owning a POS is a job , and a liability . If its not paying its own way , some how , dont put one up.

This has a prerequisite of Anchoring V.
Good luck :)

Expanding a bit.
Yes Anchoring 3 will allow you to anchor any module including defenses. The limit is space and the number of modules you can have online due to POS tower CPU/Grid limits.
Starbase Defense allows you to control the guns of your POS, each level increases the number of guns you can control, but the prerequisite is anchoring 5. The defenses will still automatically fire depending on the POS settings but will rotate targets allowing a 'hit' target to recover (unless it is the only one). Under your control you can keep firing at one target.
Scientific networking and supply chain management are only required if you want to remote research or manufacture items. You can still do this at the POS if you have the required research and manufacturing skills.
Totally agree there is not enough charisma skills to justify a whole year at high levels. You will always want to train other things which will become more important.
