I'm guessing the server finally died?
It had been locking Null-Sec gates for a while...

So I'm not the only one experiencing this. Damnit, I was on the way picking up my Exhumers skill book, would like to jump into my Hulk tomorrow...
Update: now the login screen says: "Tranquility is being taken down due to multiple node deaths causing widespread problems."

our crew had just finished first room in late stages of Epic Arc (L4) and was just getting ready to hit the warp at the next gate when it died. Good thing as there were lots o' slaver battleships waiting on the other side heh. Ah well. Better then than right in the middle (or beginning) of the fight.

Wonder if this is in anyway the grande finale to the continuous socket death issues people have been having... here's hoping it is, and that a resolution is forthcoming. Dae.

The EVE Online server is comprised of multiple servers called nodes working together to emulate one server. Having a bunch die is somewhat problematic, or at least one would assume.

I think I did it. :( I was just in a mission with corpies, tried to scram an asteroid, and it gave me a warning about Doom and Gloom happening if I scrammed the asteroid. So, I scrammed it anyway; repeatedly; warped back to the station; tried to dock, and the server crashed.

No sir, the rats play on the same server ;)
(Also, for security reasons, when you drop connection, you are warped far far away, and will warp back to that spot when you log back in) Originally by: Some Advisor -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- known issue not listed in known issues ------------------------------------------------ |
