I went to start a mission I partially completed yesterday and warped to dead space gate only to find nothing there. When I petitioned I was told by a GM that they could not restart it. When pressed they responded it is considered a exploit for a mission to respawn after DT if you only partially finish it. Anyone know of any announcement about this or is mission farming now nerfed?

Did you warp away and try warp back ?
You probably rolled a bad GM ( they seem to be completely oblivious to watch each others doing some times ), just junk the petition and try again. Most people will read this thinking it's part of my post, when its actually my sig :P

Try docking up and just talk to your agent once again. This seems to, at least sometimes, fix any accelleration gates gone AWOL during DT.

I wonder why they give you seven days to complete a mission if aren't intended to be able to fail and try again at a later time
GM was clueless.
edit: and just to remind you, there is still no divider between posts and sigs.

Whats disturbing is sometimes I can farm the mission until I get bored with is and then the next mission the glitch crops up. I just wish the higher ups would make a consistent response mandatory. Either bork all missions after DT or fix whatever bug is causing missions not to respawn. Up until 6-12 months ago never had a problem with missions respawning.

OK, relogged, convo'd the agent, undocked, warped to mission and viola...there it was. Now where do I petition a obviously lazy and/or inept GM?

Rules and policies/game masters and ISD.
Please follow through as bad GM's are a liability. I have been playing for 3 years with 3 accounts and I almost very nearly quit day 2 because of poor response from a GM when I was new. (it was around the time of the skill training bug where it looked like you had failed to train a level, noticable if you completed training during a session change) Thankfully a mates enthusiasm for the game kept me in it and I learned the encounter I had with the GM was rare rather than standard.
I suppose this must be my sig. I'll do something cool with it eventually. |

on the china server farming missions IS an exploit.
they dont like the idea that someone can have 15 missions runnign for a week all ememies abound for example as it "floods" the market for tags. I spose thats why ccp implemented the mission closure once completed, used to be you was able to re run missions by leaving system and re enterign for a mission reset. over the years ccp has closed a lot of mission exploits.

if they were worried about having tags flooding the market they wouldn't have npc buy orders for them or something. and/or they would drop in some sort of reasonable ratio.

It depend, we are speaking of the musical instrument or the flower?
Probably the flower could help getting a extra run from a female agent.
Musical aficionados agents are rarer.
