got fraps from my nyx's perspective but i came into the fight at the end only so missed the best part of it sorry. no1 else from our side fraps'd afaik so only squid fraps if any |

Anyway, I was not there since I had figured morning is good time for various chores and logged on 4 minutes after last carrier had been vapourised. Pity, perhaps I would been there with another hictor  |

You do understand basic game mechanics means he would have gone GCC for shooting non flashy / war target drones and died horribly to gate guns.. (ie they were Gal/Minie ECM drones.. ) |

Awesome fight guys, CalMil did get video of about 90% of the fight and should have it up in a day or so.
As for taking so long to come fight we had to reship and organize the fleet, plus get our three little surprises ready before we wanted to engage. Doesn't really make sense for us to form and lemming into your fleet when we know you have at least 1 carrier and a dread on standby. Did not expect the Nyx though, if he had stayed on field for about 1 min longer you would have lost that super too btw.
All in all a great fight thank you for coming at us we had fun.
Recent tally on the kills was about even in numbers 23 kills for 27 losses or something like that and 3 bil dead on the CalMil side with 15+bil dead on the Gallente side. Good fight guys, get those ships replaced so we can do it again. |

Have you guys ever once cared about out numbering us when the blobs were in your favor? No offence but you guys have been more than happy to gank & blob Caldri Militia and anyone else you can in the past when numbers were always in your favor and still out class us in ships, so I'd say this is a bit of pay back. |

To answer your questions, yes because we knew you would hot drop everything you could once we put a single carrier on the field. We outnumbered you and yet you fought us and then dropped caps, then when your dread was dying and you couldnGÇÖt break our logi you decided to drop your super, you could have docked up and logged yet you engaged and maintained the attack so donGÇÖt get upset that you lost.
As for the ECM, we knew you had guardians so yea we brought Amarr jammers. Next time we will bring all non Amarr jammers so that you can use your guardians effectively, sorry for planning for a fight and bringing the proper ships.
I am sure those 5 members would have made the difference too.
As for your super, you will never know how close you came to losing it and if you would have dropped more they would have died along with you. ItGÇÖs OK though it was a good fight even if we would have lost it was still nice to see us standing toe to toe for once instead of one side or the other dropping 20 caps and skewing the fight. Thanks for coming and thanks for all the fish.

was a really fun fight tbh, here's a brief battle report to enlighten any1 who is interested, and clear up a couple of untruths in this thread.
Firstly we formed about a 20man T3, BS and 5x guardian gang to chase after 45 or so caldari. We took this gang all the way to akidagi to try and kick start the fight and the caldari gang jumped into ichorya. We sat on the hisec gate for around 30 minutes when our fleet members started saying they had to log, we told the caldari scout in local they had 5 minutes or we were leaveing, 5 minutes came and went so we warped off. Ofcourse as we started warping off the caldari started warping to the akidagi gate, we had gained a few and lost a few during this time and our fleet was at about 20 (not including scouts / boosters etc) ... our actual fleet topped out at 26 members. Reports from ichorya we're around 70 caldari including 5 scorpions and a similar number of Blackbirds, + some bs and lots of BC's / kitchen sink.
We decided to take the fight anyway although vastly outnumbered, we had 2 triage on standby which should (and for a short while did) have held reps against the caldari kitchen sink with our high reistance T3's / BS's.
The fight kicked off in enaluri with the caldari jumping into us, orders were to primary the scorpions when they decloaked, we killed 3 almost immediately before the caldari guardians could do their thing and landed reps on the fourth in deep structure (bolster was a lucky boy  )
At this point it became difficult for us to break anything, the caldari guardians were doing a great job, our own guardians began getting perma jammed unsurprisingly so we bought in our first triage, he did a great job and our reps began to hold for a while. We killed a guardian and one or two other small ships and the caldari dropped a thanatos and archon on the field. They began neuting our triage so I dropped in as a second triage. Unfortunately whilst watching my carrier my proteus got melted without having chance to broadcast (god damn dual boxing). We dropped the super at this point as it was clear we couldn't break the caldari guardians and triage reps. The super began working on the carrier while our subcaps continued shooting random targets hoping to break something, but to no avail. I was podded and back in nisuwa by this point and it was clear we weren't going to break anything unless we could remove the caldari carriers (they had a 3rd carrier on field by this point) so I called for a cyno to drop my moros at about the time my alts archon went down. I dropped the moros in the middle of the fight and the combined damage from the moros / nyx melted the caldari thanatos and put an archon into deep armor before the moros got neuted dry. Once the moros was out of cap it became clear the fight was lost so I called for the super to evac and the subcaps to deagress and jump out, leaving my moros and our remaining carrier to die.
Was a really great fight tbh and imo it hung in the balance for a while, if we could have dropped 1 more dread with my moros I think we would have broken the caldari carriers and the result may have been different but unfortunately that wasn't to be.

doesn't show isk values on dog-net but as a rough estimate I'd say we're looking at about 3 bill lost for caldari and 12-15 bill for gallente. Not an entirely horrible result considering the 3 to 1 ish odds we were facing.
