Wen using a capacitor booster and having a container in your cargohold to maximize capacity, you need to move the boosters from the container in the cargohold to be reloaded automatically.Thats is annoying.
I would like a possibility to rightclick on the cap boosters and click on some option witch sets it on a option to reload from both cargohold and container.Maybe we can even make the same with guns/launchers.
What do you think?

I'm sure you can't do it directly because of the planck field compressing matter inside containers. The moving of ammo/cap booster charges from container to cargohold to make it possible to move them is representative of the matter being decompressed again, to make it ready for use.

Gameplay is more important than the fiction made up to explain why a gsc holds 900m3 more than it takes up, so that isn't much of an argument, the fiction can be changed to fit the game.
However, I feel that those containers are more supposed to be used for sorting items rather than just the 900m3 bonus to cargo space. So the disadvantage of having to keep moving ammo/cap boosters to the main cargohold stops the containers being added to every single ship you own to add a couple of hundred m3. If CCP wanted that they could just boost every ships cargo hold, couldn't they?

Yeah but fro getting a little more cap than your opponent you don't need to fight with him, you need to fight with the interface. This just makes it easier to run a active tank in PVP witch is alot harder than a buffer.

But my point still stands... If CCP wanted this, then they could just buff ships cargoholds, active tanks would still get their advantage over buffer fits, and it would avoid the couple of thousand containers in ship cargo holds which probably would cause more strain on the server.

not supporting for a simple reason: this is part of piloting your ship and piloting skills. either you can manage your cargo properly and move stuff or you die.

It does not take much skill it takes useless interface space, you need to have opened both container and cargohold too see how much is left. And its not piloting skills too move stuff to different containers.

Again with me guessing technical reasons. [speculation]Cargoholds are different, code-wise, to containers. I'm guessing 1 per ship, static reference, all reloading algorithms point to the static reference to reload, and can only point to one reference.[/speculation]

Look, there is a reason CCP makes each ship have a certain amount of cargohold. There are ways to increase your cargohold, but they have drawbacks. If you used a Cargo Expander, you would be slower, and you wouldn't have that extra low slot. If you use a rig, you can't use another rig in the slot, and you lose armor HP. If you use containers, you have an extra step to reload. CCP isn't going to give you an option that doesn't have a drawback.
