It was stated recently in an video interview from GDC that with Incarna, the minimum hardware specs would be going up. I was wondering to what extent this will effect the Mac Client user base? Any input on this from Devs would be awesome. |

We've not yet announced the spec requirements for the Mac client when it comes to Incarna. Stay tuned, and sorry we can't yet provide more information.

I am really nervous about this very question. I am worried I might have to quit EVE over a feature I do not care about in the first place....

I was under the impression that the whole walking in stations feature would be entirely optional and people would be able to continue playing the game without ever stepping foot inside a station (literally, that is) ... that is, unless they decide to make improvements to the graphics in space :S

It will depend on what they mean by 'optional'. If it is a separate application or something that can be loaded as a module, then the impact might not be that great. However, it is more likely that it will be bundled into the main app, thus it will be 'optional' in the same way mining is 'optional.
