Okay I applaud that Eve has a legal way to buy ISK. It just seems that they could make it easier and less complicated.
On account management page you should be able to buy 250M ISK for $15....or....buy a 30 day pilots extension for 250M in game ISK.
Why not cut out all the trouble you have to go through in game of making a contract etcetera....put everything on account management....buy in game money for real money OR buy gametime for in game money.

You have no idea how PLEX works.
The way the system works now, all game time is still paid for in real life cash.
Plex is not simply a way to pay for your game time with isk, it is part of a formal channel to convert real money to isk. All you are seeing is the ability to pay for your game time with isk.
Here is how it works: Player A wants isk. Player A pays RL money to buy a GTC from a certified seller (that rl money then goes to CCP). Player A can either sell the GTC on forums for isk, or convert it to PLEX and sell it in game for isk.
In the end, every month of game time is still payed for with real money.

No.
When you trade in-game a PLEX for ISK, that ISK is generated by player activity. That means the ISK is part of the in-game market and the ISK is created directly by player actions and specifcaly, time spent logged in. The only activities where you receive ISK directly from CCP are Rat bounty and Mission bounty. Everything else is traded. You do not get paid by CCP for mining, you get paid by other players. ( Note that even RMTers must either macro, ie have a macro interact with the game, or steal ISK which somebody else spent time in game for.) In reality, all ISK = Time spent in game. The value of PLEX is determined by a players decision about how much time they are prepared to pay for a PLEX.
If you were to buy ISK directly from CCP, the ISK is created without in-game activity. ie directly by CCP without anyone being logged into the game. There is no reason or incentive for players to derive a market price, so the price would be set directly by CCP and we would all scream DEVHAX about it continually. This also kinda defeats the purpose of having a working player driven market.
