Great Spreadsheet!
I'll heed your warning, but I repeat actions so often, it's no big thing ;)
Layout is great! I have just one minor suggestion. On the refining tab, I'd rather have ice and drone poop listed at the bottom instead of alphabetized with the ores. And list the ores via security access, instead of alpha. But that's just minor. Actual functionality of your sheet seems great. I appreciate the EC price look up, but like you in your earlier posts, I prefer to list my own prices. And I'm glad you kept the functionality to do this :D
I'll keep hammering on it. Keep up the great work

I've investigated and sadly Ice is classified as 'Asteroid' and refinables (drone poop) are under compounds so it wouldn't have been any better than it is now. The datadump doesn't tell you what class the asteroids are so I don't believe there's no way of sorting by that criteria, besides characters in Gallente space may want a different order than those in Caldari space so it's just easier to work with what's already there instead of trying to crowbar it out of shape.
The EC Price is there as a fall back, either because you don't have a price in your local system, or that you can't be arsed getting 10+ different prices for the items you don't use on a regular basis.
Glad you like the sheet - keep hammering away Thank you.

The EC Prices does not like at all being refreshed all in one go - and for the 10.1 version I've changed it slightly which I hope will sort out the failure of some of the individual queries not working either.
I'll be writing up a refresh guide with screen shots on the google site which I hope will be easy to understand and follow - only time will tell of course.

A great update in progress is the pos fuel calculator, I may be jumping the gun a bit, but with what I've got so far is pretty awesome.
Keep checking the website for updates and screen shots on the guide section.

Currently updating the website but as you may have noticed with the title change a new starting point for development purposes as happened and besides the Pos management sheet is just awesome so I couldn't hold on to it greedily.
Enjoy - PLEASE leave posts, comments, Isk, and get on the mailing list in game as you never know what I may end up doing next and you'll be the second to know (yup me first).

first of all, make sure you're using 2010 and then the steps as listed on the website will work.
Excel has a bug that doesn't like tables being refreshed if they're too close together and that version lost the bottom line in order to keep a gap that it thought didn't exist*
It did exist but it was only one row, now it's two so fingers crossed.
If updating the prices (make sure you don't update all, that rule is still in force as it's still bugged) moves the tables down an extra line, let me know and I'll try and sort something out however it could mean having to run code, something I'm loathe to do for the reception it will receive.

110 Downloads so far for the most recent version featuring a pos fuel sheet integrated with the Material Inv sheet pos fuel section.
If you've downloaded it and like it, thank you, if you've downloaded and don't like it and haven't told me why then shame on you!
It can be made better but I can't see the woods for the trees so comments, suggestions are always welcome.

I've noticed one thing I can't figure out how to fix.
If you input values in the Asteroid Inv sheet ( for me, all three plags, scordites, and veldspars) and then switch to the Refining sheet. The values for the Scordite family and Veldspar family are showing up in the Refinables.
Any ideas?
I can't give you enough kudos for this workbook. It is, by far, the best and most usable one I've seen thus far.
Thanks.

This is caused by me using two different lists for the same thing.
It's caused, if you're interested, when the author (me) comes back and adds something without seeing what they've already got available and adding in an entirely new range.
Oops.
It's easy to fix though, so look out for the 1.1 version and thanks for the bug report.
I'm not ready to believe it's the only error though so please tell me!
Thank you for sticking with Excel and the code-allergic.

FIX FOR ASTEROID INVENTORY SHEET.
In cell B4 enter the following.
=IF(RefineData!B4="","",RefineData!B4)
Copy the cell and select the cells B4 to B75 and then right click within the highlighted section.
Paste Special >> Paste Formulas
Sorted.
The other columns in that page will automatically update itself too.
Save and enjoy.

Sidrat,
First off, GREAT tool! Looking better and better with every new version.
Found a small error on the 'Material Inv' sheet for the EIO2010release.zip
Cell H29 is calculating based on the wrong values from the new 'POS' sheet. It is using the values for the amount of 'Oxygen' that you've stuck in POS #1-5 when it should be looking at the amount of 'Oxygen Isotopes' instead.
Currently the formula in Cell H29 is: =HLOOKUP(B29,refine_tot,2,FALSE)+IF(Pos!$R$14="",0,Pos!$R$14)+IF(Pos!$R$19="",0,Pos!$R$19)+IF(Pos!$R$24="",0,Pos!$R$24)+IF(Pos!$R$29="",0,Pos!$R$29)+IF(Pos!$R$34="",0,Pos!$R$34)
But the correct formula should be: =HLOOKUP(B29,refine_tot,2,FALSE)+IF(Pos!$S$14="",0,Pos!$S$14)+IF(Pos!$S$19="",0,Pos!$S$19)+IF(Pos!$S$24="",0,Pos!$S$24)+IF(Pos!$S$29="",0,Pos!$S$29)+IF(Pos!$S$34="",0,Pos!$S$34)
(notice that all the $R changed to $S)
Simply copy the correct formula shown above, paste it into Cell H29 on the 'Material Inv' sheet, save the document, and it will then calculate correctly.
Enjoy.

Thanks mate, working on the fixed version currently and including your suggestions RE the Invention Cost calculator.
Will post the link to 1.5 when it's done.

I've re-posted the old link here and on the website.
Why? Well apart from some T2 stuff it's functional, and as I have no way of knowing what functions are most popular it's a good idea to have any link even if the version isn't actually totally working.
I'm in the process (and god how I hate create the xml maps to Eve Central) of creating a new update with a totally new look.
Get ready for a sneak preview of the new layout and design and thanks to Akita for introducing me to the idea of using drop down menus so many years ago.
I will introduce a time limited availability to the sneak preview perhaps 12 hours perhaps 24 so keep an eye on the thread as I should be able to get the preview out by the end of today or certainly within the next 24 hours.
And I hope it does two things, work and wets your appetite for the full version which will be released later depending on feedback and comments.
I also believe I have worked around the issue of getting your ME and PE information from one sheet to another for future versions so it's looking good, there's still a lot to do so why am I spending time writing this?

Sneak Preview uploaded to Eve Files, get it while it's hot.
All new look and it's FAR from completed but it's enough to test and provide feedback on. This version will not replace your existing file by any stretch of the imagination but I wanted to get something uploaded early.
Please please please, leave feedback, especially bug reports. If I can fix them before the main release it would be a much much better thing than having to release a fix shortly after.
And thanks to the users so far who's stuck with the development.

Is it just me or is this thread WIDE!!!??
Hmmm the EIO Dominion sheet(s) is coming along nicely, just taking a beer or four out after working on the damn xml tables and reducing the items down to 2,679.
That's going to be a lot of tables.
It's a LOT of tables actually, but it's down to the url character length nothing else.
I wonder if Eve Central supports the downloading of items in a single group?? Oh that would be totally awesome if that was possible.

Just when you thought you had it all nailed along comes a To Do list and then you realise just how much further there is to go.
It will get done and it will get done BEFORE Tyrannis.
I just really really hope that updating the database is more straight forward than it was for Dominion.
If you're one of the 36 people that has downloaded the preview can you report here as to what you think of it - I know it's not a lot to go on and I probably won't actually reduce the sheet count in any discernible way but I hope it will be easier to use and therefore more useful.
I'm looking forward to PI as long as it has a better user interface and I don't believe that the mineral market will crash. View The Eve Industrial Organiser Site

An update about the future of the EIO project.
Simplification and splitting up of the sheets in to a cohesive collection of workbooks. If you don't want refining quotes you should not have to dodge the tab.
Well now you won't have to as I'm in the process of splitting up the Eve Inventory Organiser into it's component parts.
Inventory Workbook EC Price listing Workbook Blueprint Information Workbook Manufacturing Workbook Refining Workbook Pos Fuel Calculator Workbook Invention Calculator* Reaction Calculator*/**
*Post Tyrannis ** If I can be bothered.
I know I posted I was thinking about it, but it's a good idea and we should grasp those with both hands.
I have some splitting to do so I have to split, thanks to the 303 downloads and the nine downloads of the EIO future look. View The Eve Industrial Organiser Site

Ohh here's the link to the preview edition of the Dominion version.
The Tyrannis version will feature separated workbooks as mentioned before so it's something to look forward to, along with the patch itself.
Anyway try it out and tell me what you think.

Due to the current war dec, the release of a fully accurate Dominion version will be put on hold until such time after the war dec ends so I can concentrate on defending what I perceive as my own.
I have help but if anyone else would like to show support convo me ingame or join the EIO Chat channel for more information.
Thank you.

Released a working version of the EIO Dominion spreadsheet containing two files, one to hold EC prices and the other that holds the rest of the data.
This version doesn't have a pos fuel calculator, nor does it feature the full range that will make it in to the Tyrannis version. I've released this version in order to start work on the next version previously described.
If you spot any errors please report them here or mail Sidrat Flush in game.
Thank you.
