Currently, leadership bonuses have two problems.
1. They don't stack. 2. They don't grant enough of a bonus. 3. They depend on the person with the skill and mod being in a leader/booster role.
So, I propose:
1. Allow leadership to stack, but at a 20% per player penalty. 2. There needs to be a 100% increase in the bonuses currently provided, so double them. 3. Allow you to grant bonuses to everyone in your squad by simply being in the squad, freeing squad commander for a real important person.
I think this would help buff underpowered fleet combat, currently we have issues such as snipers and people being able to run off gates due to slow lock time.

1. no 2. Not like that. Maybe some additional leadership skills and bonuses, but not boosting bonuses. This bonuses are meant to slightly increase ur perfomance and not to be crucial factor in battle... 3. Good idea

They don't give enough bonus? Bull****. Ever had an erebus or a maxed t3 in your gang? It's pretty nasty.

This idea be a nice money maker for ccp actually. even the carebears would have an army of alt accounts to boost isk per hour. Probably put a pvp'er with a small army of cyno alts to jump their rides to shame lol.

This is already the case.... you dont have to be squad commander to give any bonus, only squad booster. The commander only needs the skills to pass the bonus around eg the leadership skill itself or wing/fleet command if you have a bigger fleet
i dont think leadership skills are to weak, but i'd still like to see a few things fixed:
a) make siege warfare actually giving shield HPs... right now every time the leadership bonus is applied (after jumping for example) it only gives you the new MAX HP but your actual HPs are capped at the amount without bonus... leaving you at 90% shields. this makes the bonus useless in a lot situations b) keep ganglinks activated during warp... its a pain in the ass activating them after every warp... all other non targeted systems like SeBo, ECCM or active hardeners keep running, so why not ganglinks?
ps: commonly proposed: only give ganglink bonus to people on grid... i'm really fine with that, but still keep my proposal b

So you want my Damnation to give a 50% bonus to armor repair rate, armor repair cap use and 50% bonus to resists instead of 25%?

Well, one could just limit access to said buffed bonuses to people in the persons squad, marginalizes the OMGblob argument and forces actual care/thought when arranging for bigger shin-digs.
Squad members get bonus from squad leader only. Squad leaders get bonus from wing leader only. Wing leaders get bonus from fleet leader only. Fleet leader is **** out of luck.
A step backwards though so not sure if its wanted

A) Such a no brainer that it HAS to be supported. B) PLEASE do this. Such a PITA to be in warp and find your tackle is on a gate and they can not get the buff they should have because your Claymore is in warp.
ps: i personally hate the bonus only on grid idea - unless you allow links to run while cloaked. No one will actually use a Linked command ship then - and certainly wont use a 4-5-6-7-8 link ship anymore. If you are willing to train the time to buff your mates and are willing to sit at a safe spot or pos..... then why penalise a pilot for doing so?
