Greatings esteemed Yarr'ers.
For too long i have been involved in that evil thing as being a bear. But now i cast that way off me and want to kill stuff, since they say there all the fun is. So i have been thinking off making an alt for generating lulz and sweet tears. which race is best for piracy and what skills would be essential for those first toddeling steps on the dark side.
Tnx in advance.

Caldari is the best pirate race.
Get a max tanked drake and head to Rancer, people can't break your tank and gate guns will be on your side.

All races work equally as well, just choose the one that matches your play style best.
You don't need to make an alt for that, your current skills can be useful, so you won't have to start from scratch, even if you only save the learning skills part. All you need to do is create a hauler alt. don Solo pvping is absolutly amazing, especially in an assault frigate in lowsec, but don't miss all the fun you can get in small gang pvp. Having friends to talk to and to fly with is what makes eve interesting.

Follow this advice.
Confirming that small gang warfare is the most fun you will have in EVE.
Be sure to carry items in your cargo hold that look good on loss mails such as Exotic Dancers, Spiced Wine and, when in Providence, Fraudulent Pax Amarria.

And why do this with an alt? That is such a Scare-Bear way to go about it. I recommend doing it with your main to get some street credit. Just go into low sec with a frig and find a good fight, its the best.

Get into a t2 fitted BC and join a pirate corp. That's all that is needed.
People tend to think you need uber skills to pirate which is not true. You just need to be mega paranoid to stay one step ahead of the anti-pie traps.

try minmatar, speed/dps = win. pros: -the hurricane is amazing for dps/speed and it armor and shield tanks well -the typhoon does horrendous damage -maelstrom tanks and ganks like a pimp -vagabond is great for when u wander into 0.0 for lols -if you cross spec gallente you'll get (imo) the best faction ships out there.
cons: -minmatar takes forever to fly effectively -if you're forced to go toe to toe on their terms your tank will succumb quickly.

Really no point in rolling a new toon, unless you want to keep it for logistical reason's, but even then unless your a 100% indy trained character your better off starting with the current SP you have...
