Here's the scenario: Neutral RR is RRing a wartarget of mine which I'm attacking
- I see the RR go red and can/could attack it - corpie in a falcon does NOT see the RR go red and can not aggress (so it's not just an overview issue)
err, what?

If the falcon wasn't attacking the wartarget the neut won't be flagged, he was flagged to you because you were attacking the wartarget and the neut RR'd the guy who had aggression on you. As a result you could kill the neut cos he was hindering you, but technically not the falcon cos the falcon wasn't fighting said wartarget. Neutrals only go flashy to the people who are attacking the guy that is being repped.
Hope that makes sense.

that's... is weird? But ok I'll go with the idea, so if the falcon would have jammed the target the neutral was repping he'd then be able to jam the RR.
That's the dumbest logic I've heard of but hey, it's CCP and they seem to like their neutral RR.

Surely that can't be right.

Also . . . neut RR does not constitute aggression, so he can insta-dock whenever he pleases.

Yeah neutral RR'ing is the king of lame when it comes to high sec station games. We have to deal with this alot from third party WT's in RvB. Using this tactic is fine with me for the most part, but its the fact that even though they are flashy red to you they dont recive a agression timer so they just dock as soon as they are being shot at, and that just sucks.
If this is a becoming a problem for you guys then try these few options and it may help you. First dont engage on station if you can help it, second dont try to dps a logi ship down you wont make it before they dock, third you can try to either sensor damp them to oblivian or use ewar and hope they arent packing any ECCM, and finally you can also bring out a curse or pilgram and nuet them so they cant keep their RR up without burning through thier cap boosters.

You're missing the part where my corpie couldn't aggress him, that's the whole point. I'm not even debating the docking/jump aggression timer as I kinda take that one for granted these days but my corp can not attack him until they attack his RR target first. THAT is the issue.

I could be wrong on this because sometimes I just dont pay attention lol, but I belive if you were to fleet him then he would be able to target the nuetral RR, so yeah it sucks that if hes just in your corp he cant agress so try forming a fleet with him asap next time that might help.
