For some time now I've been crafting spreadsheets and workbooks to better enable myself and others to calculate some of the specific tasks an industrialist needs to accomplish. One of the most successful items I've created is the Mineral Workbook which accomplishes several features all rolled into one item. This isn't the end-all of all industrial tools but it certainly is a step in the right direction. Now on it's 15th revision, I'm opening it to the public forums for the opinion of others to help develop where I go next with it.
Right now this tool does the following tasks:
[*]Connects to EVE-Central and downloads Mineral and Salvage Prices.
[*]Allows a "discount" modifier to adjust the actual prices used.
[*]Calculates the volume of minerals and/or ore in total.
[*]Has a operational fleet ability to split the minerals or ISK of each member based on their time in the fleet.
[*]Allows you to split the salvage between 1 or more people.
[*]Has a raw entry for exact mineral or ore values (good tool for figuring out build costs for manufacturing).
There's a README sheet included which gives basic instructions. Don't forget to scroll down on the Mineral Op sheet to see the ore calculator.
As ideas come in, I will be making new revisions and posting directly to my corporation's website. Follow the link at the bottom of this post to find the download link.
Please keep in mind that this workbook will only work in Excel, not in OpenOffice because of the Data Connections it makes to EVE-Central. If you don't know how to enable the data-connections, look in your settings. It's not that hard. You should know right away if it's working or not because once you open the book it should take about a minute to download the relevant updates from the site. If you don't see this happening, enable your data connections and reload the book.
Your feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks for trying it out!

Just released version 1.5.1 with the updated Mineral Settings sheet.
Now you can over-ride the EVE-CENTRAL data and enter manual values if you wish.
Thanks to everyone for the mails, I appreciate your support :)

Haha. I don't have Excel anything since I reinstalled my OS. But from experience it seems to work well when I sell stuff to the corp.
Also. Confirming post in epic thread
