Hey CCP, you do all that stuff for new players, constantly improve the tutorial, add double SP for beginners, advertise for new customers and so on. But what's about the vets ? There are hundreds of people now with 100 million SP and more, thousands with above 90 million SP. Yet you didn't add any really challenging new skills in the past years that take more than a few weeks to train (t3 ships, overheating etc. can be trained in a month or two). What are your plans about keeping the vets happy, giving them a chance to improve, a taste of character progression (that is not training the same ship types of 3 other races) ?

Yes because giving people who have played for x ammount of years an overpowered wtfpwnmobile Jove ship is obviously a good idea .

While I'm generally sympathetic to older players (e.g., clone costs locking you out of flying small ships in 0.0), this is pretty rubbish - You can partake in all the new shiny stuff just as easy or easier than other people since you already have all your support skills done.
Plus t3 - that's really just a pvp ship (pve is a different story - if you always avoid combat then lower SP players can afford to fly it a bit) for very high SP people who can afford to constantly retrain skills - especially once they're 70% net insurable with the next patch.

Actually the jove ships are the weakest in game. While they have slots, pg and cpu galore they do not have any ship bonuses like +10% rof for all weapons per jove bs level. Its a ship that would be flown with straight skills.

Tard troll is a tard, and a noob at trolling.
Complaining about sp and skill training in order to get "a taste of character progression"?
You'll be more succesful posting that crap in any other game.
PS : Challenging new skills... bwahahaha. Yeah right.
I can see the ads now.

No, not even close. The payout for insuring T2 ships has been slightly increased. It is possible to insure a HAC with a platinum insurance for about 6 million ISK and get 38 millions paid out once it pops, definatly better then nothing, but thats all.
The Legion I tried to insure could be insured for 5 million ISK but the payout would be only 18 millions.
A payout around 70% is possible for platinum insured plain T1.

Yes it is true, but only for the ship, not the subsystems.
Quote: a taste of character progression
Reset their chars, then they can see character progression again.
And OP forget that they added double SP until 1.6M SP for beginners at the same time as they lowered their starting SP by almost 800k. Advertising for new customers doesnt make it better for new players, and it was hard to make the tutorial any worse (and it is still pretty much crap, although granted that might have something to do with the disaster we call a UI).

every year should yeild an extra attribute piont for each attribute type (yes thats 5 free pionts a year)
skills get longer, yes the top guys will take more of a lead, but when others get their extra pionts will start to chase them at the same rate they have now. Also ballaneced somwhat with remapping.
Training those big lvl 5s takes months, ease the pain for the pro's that have stuck with the game, making the alliences work and all the other things the oldest players do for the community.
that or i'll have a jove BS for my '03 guy and a jove BC for my '04.
thanksssss o/

No, not even close.
From the dev blog: http://www.eveonline.com/devblog.asp?a=blog&bid=746
"We have our own ideas for how much of the full insurance value we want to payout for each ship class which generally is 100% for Tech 1 ship groups, 20-60% for Tech 2 and 100% for Tech 3 ships"
Have they changed their mind? Have they not implemented it on the test server yet? Who knows :) (Note: subsystems are not insurable, but the base 400M hull will be, according to that dev blog)

Shut it crybaby. We had the T2 BPO lottery that were terribly broken and basically gave a handful of players the ability to print as much ISK as they would want at their leasure. Caveo of Minmatar , torva vacuus regimen of deus es plurrimi periculosus of bestia

I think that maybe the higher your SP the more you should pay in taxs.
What I mean by this is that CEO corp tax rates should be abolished and personal tax rates should become a standard. The more SP you have, the higher the tax band your put in.
As a general rule putting pvp aside, higher SP people earn more isk. So why not tax the rich just like in real life?

dumb idea.
scammers make their isk on brand new alts.
traders trade on low sp alts.
the owners main chars sp has nothing to do with how or how much isk they make
