To the hands of AAA and UK. This is impressive. AAA is the first alliance to officially take a region with everyone having full knowledge of the new sov mechanics. A major feat.

Why is it a major feat to be the first one? The new mechanics make it easier than before, and the number of stations capped is the evidence.
Not to mention, the only other major conflict just got started.

I think the number of stations capped has something to do with it being Providence, actually --

What did anyone expect out of this. -A- is a powerhouse, a major factor in Eve. Provi-bloc kept poking the bear, over and over again, and now they have to go on with that very lousy and poor decision. Never underestimate the power of -A-, a lesson CVA, LFA, Severence, and many others had to learn the hard way.
I agree, it is a major feat indeed!

Religious Fanatics, the Pope, the Emperor from Star Wars (who incidentially looks alot like the Pope, Coincidence? I THINK NOT), list just goes on. AAA simply wanted to put a end to all the child molesting in Amarrian churches.

So you don't think that the regular raiding of Providence by -A- and their support of the CVA's oldest enemy might have been considered a bit of a provocation then?

The so called "constant raiding" wasn't just -A- fyi, proviblock "raided" -A- space as well. The poking was first the invasion from CSA whom took an empty system in -A- space during the 49- sieges, the system was later written off by -A- as it had no value and afaik an agreement made with cva. Then they go and poke again, this time moving towards -A-'s vital system of HED-GP, that was a huge misstake.
