Just want to lay it all out on the table here. Certainly, there has been some recent issues brought up of a monetary nature. I just want to point out that my accusations of backstabbing are legitimized by people literally attempting to mutiny and kick me out of my own corporation. I just want to put it out there that I left Aduro today to join up with a few guys from Faction Warfare who I get along with. The people who attempted to overthrow me are no longer people I choose to associate with, and they left on their own volition.

This is a really good attempt of adverting attention from the main point. People in Aduro did not trust a CEO that had a large amount of outstanding ISK. So, as a group most of aduro said we need new direction. We ask siigari to stand down from CEO, he said F****-off leave. So as a group we left aduro and started a new corp simple. Im sorry that the people wanted change and u refused to give up control. Im not sure where the back-stabbing comes in and a really good question was asked if you make so much isk why not just pay ppl back! The fact is siigari is con-artist, and not a half bad one at that. I wish siigari the best of luck and I really hope he pays back isk that was loaned to him by his former corp mates!

Yeah and the fact that he didn't pay lark off on his 2b bet, which several people witnessed was also a good indication of what was to come.

Nice official statement Siigari, shame it completely avoids anything relevant to recent events.
I guess you don't need that bankers income any more since Celeste won't have anything to do with you on account of your recent behaviour. Funny you would call people back-stabbers who you have actually ripped off yourself. As a disgraced CEO your corp mates had every right to ask you to step down.
Enjoy your time with the few buddies you have left. Maybe they will lend you some ISK. Might as well milk them while they are still dumb enough.
This reminds me of the behaviour found in alcoholics and degenerate gamblers. ----

I'd also like to mention that what is being discussed has no relation to the issues at hand. I never spoke up against Siigari at all, only to ask for my money back. We had a CEO who was doing a horrible job, so we decided to leave. This is not backstabbing, this is LEAVING. And if he so claims it's easy to make a couple billion in a few hours honest work, why is it so difficult to pay back any amount of isk owed?

Pre-invention, back when T2 cartels were the primary source of T2 modules. You could sell them at a stupidly high markup and people would still buy them because it was the only source of them available. Good times. ---

It is very unfortunate that to the very end siig maintains a total lack of perspective or grip on reality. Whenever faced with tough questions or when caught being full of it he only evades or completely ignores the topic at hand.
How anyone can act like a victim when they make so many mistakes and wrong so many people is beyond me. Anyone who spent time in vent with him could see he was unstable and his powers of reasoning were self serving. I had some good times but people just could not handle the drama.
Instead of coming here and trying to practice some ego stroking siig why don't you right your wrongs since you're more than capable of it. At least stop claiming " friends " betrayed you when you treated the people you called friends like a joke. You can only burn so many bridges before none are left.

A shame to see all my friends in Aduro split up like this. I like Torus, Siigari, Lirael, the whole lot of Aduro was good people. Money ****ed up everything though, so everyone reading this thread remember not to lend large amounts!
This. Really. This is what happened from my (limited) perspective. This may offend people, it may be revealing, or it may just be more useless history in a meaningless thread about a boring game. You pick (ha! I know how these polls go... )
Liang Before Siigari I have long had 3 accounts, and Liang is my forum *****. I regret that immensely, since it means that I have to be very careful when I fly with her. I truly wish I had the foresight so many years ago to post on an unskilled alt. Anyway, I've spent most of my time recently in low sec with No Salvation. We were in the ***** alliance, and from the ashes of that arose a coalition of pirate corps to found Gentlemen's Club in Molden Heath. Tomin and several other key members of NOSA stopped playing, and GC got buddy buddy with COW. NOSA eventually folded because so many members stopped playing Eve, and we all folded into Hull Miner's.
Tomin (the CEO) came back and restarted NOSA, and so we all left Hull Miner's to rejoin. NOSA wasn't allowed back into GC (big surprise there... and they were right of course) and we went on to make friends in Molden Heath and found War Pigs in hopes of Dominion's sov changes letting a smallish alliance terrorize a bigger alliance that Etayed docked when a roaming gang went through. The cost of some of the sov units kinda put a kink in that plan -- remember we're all pirates and none of us like to run missions very much. Anyway, through a series of in game moves and RL concerns we end up all but killing No Salvation and War Pigs off.
Liang Meets Siigari So I'm trying pretty desparately to maintain my interest in Eve and No Salvation is all but dead, and I'm busy organizing a Portland, OR get together on the events forum. Siigari posts that he's from the area - hey wow. So, I end up going to the first Portland get together with the express intention of meeting Siigari. So Siig and his girlfriend beat me there, and first thing after the round of introductions I just can't contain myself: "Holy **** Siig, how do you afford all the GTCs!?" He proceeds to explain the above and log into his banking account to show that he does in fact make billions. Seems pretty plausible. He offers to let me join Aduro and I politely (hopefully?) decline - I'm in No Salvation and have been for ages. I go where my corpmates go. :)
By the time I went to the second PDX get together, I was fairly certain that Siigari literally could not afford the GTCs he's accused of having bought. He freely admits he's flat broke - so I don't feel like I'm breaking trust here by saying that. Anyway, the second PDX get together was an almost entirely different crowd to the first - and I thank everyone that went with me to watch Alien Parachute Man. :) Anyway, by this time NOSA has turned into a 2 man corp (basically) - and one of us "inhereted" CEO-ship. Meanwhile, I start complaining we need more people and neither of us want to do the recruiting.
As for my part, I don't want to do the recruiting because it means new people to get to know, people getting to know my alts, etc. Anyway, I send Liang off to join Aduro, and I fly with them for maybe a week before returning to my roots as Electus Matari war decs us (!!?) and a couple more people start to play. I try to engineer a merger of NOSA into Aduro, but by and large I am far more interested in flying with my NOSA corp mates than Aduro corp mates. I never really got back involved with Aduro - and for that I truly apologize to everyone that was there.

But the merger "talks" (which I'm sure Siig didn't even know he was in... heh) fell through, and we decide to stay in NOSA. I keep my eyes peeled on Corp/Alliance recruitment for corps to join or alliances that would have us. We almost merge into EAK/Dead Terrorists, but they want an API check and certain members are Very Opposed to that. We aren't spies, but we do have our Sekrits. Anyway, we end up settling on the creation of a new corp (Parsec Flux!) and trying to make a go of finding a new place to live and a recruitment spree.
Well, about the time that I drop my roles (ha!) a corp mail goes out demanding Siig resign, and that everyone should drop roles as a show of solidarity. This is literally the first thing I've heard about it, so I fire off an email saying "I dropped roles... but really it isn't because I hate anyone here". Roughly. The evemails about dropping roles keep rolling in... and Aduro is in full implosion mode. The accusations mostly revolved around a bet with Lark, some corp wallet stuff, and a couple of loans from corp members. I think things could have been salvaged at this point either by Siigari being around (he'd posted on corp forums that he was sick with the flu) or by him paying the ISK or by stepping down.
Anyway. That's all beside the point. Fast forward a few days - I've founded Parsec Flux, Aduro has exploded, this thread has appeared, and Siigari is pointing it out in the Aduro public channel. I tell him that a good name is worth more than gold, and that he should post his point of view - clearly and concisely. He balks - perhaps rightly. I say that this is worthwhile because the people making accusations here last week were corpmates and considered personal friends. So, address their concerns - publically since that's how they've decided they have to make them - and debunk the "I buy GTCs" myth once and for all. Well, he posted. I think he forgot the most important part - and I tried to tell him that but I got busy running a plex or something.
My final point of view (this may be the part that offends someone): - I don't think that Siigari buys GTCs - at least not in the scale that he's accused of. The amount of RL cash involved would be staggering, and he simply doesn't have it. - A good name is worth more than gold - it's the most important thing that you can have. So when you ask for a loan... pay it back. Even if they're red. Even if they disassociate with you over you being late.
And you know - I know Lana is going to mock me for feeling this way - but there isn't e-honor... there's just honor.

When you get RL death threats and are primaried just because you are you then you are one step closer to winning Eve imo.

nobodies fault but your own in this game tbh. I'd be really embaressed if I let Siig use me like that for so long
actually the dumbest I've felt in EVE was when I bought a DCU 2 off Siig for 400m (he was originally trying to sell it for well over 1bil so I figured I could resell), 5 mins after buying it I realised what a stupid idea it was though and put it straight back up on the market for the same price. Luckily it sold. Maybe I could have got more, but I knew prices would fall sharp and soon so didn't want to risk it.
I dunno, Siig seems decent enough normally, maybe that's why so many people trusted him over these years but damn if he'll let reputation get in the way of making a tidy profit.
besides, for anyone who really cared about getting their money back - all you need is a locator agent... Word on the street he's not so smart at PvP
