Hello, I'm looking to start an alt for trading and have a basic concept of training the learning skills and then basic trading skills, but was wondering if when starting a trading alt people would have any idea on potential remaps/skillsets I should go for. I would at first predominantly be doing inter region trading. I realise that it would only be a minimal saving in time choosing one race over another with regard to which hauler to use, but recommendations on which race's hauler to fly to this end would also be appreciated.
Thanks in advance to any replies.

In regards to exact remaps, I suggest checking out EveMon. Very useful. Learn it love it.
As for haulers. Gallente have the best industrial, Iteron MKV, which can hold a **** ton when fit properly with cans and such. Gallente have an average freighter I suppose, dunno, never flown one. But as far as general shipments of goods between regions you can't beat the Gallente industrial line.
**Side note: A fully decked out skilled trader will take you 6 months if you want to run a full region without ever undocking.
Hope that helps you out a lil

and you'd probably max charisma, then use remaining for perception for industrial/freighter. i'd grab evasive maneuvering for the freighter...

I'd also train Mechanic to 5 (might as well hull tank with skills).

This is what I will be doing with my freighter pilot. Shield Management V, Hull Upgrades V and Mechanic V so that I can max out my freighters and transports hit-points. The main thing is to never fly afk when carrying a decent cargo though but still maxing the hit-points is always a good idea. I am training an alt for the Minmatar freighter and transports as the Mammoth is a pretty decent transport from what I remember and the Minmatar freighter is the quickest, has the smallest cargo hold but I rarely have a full freighter load anyway.
