Hola, I am doing L4s and I am wondering how much a Web might help me? I was using two Omni tracking units, but I was thinking if I could web some of those annoying elite cruisers that I could break them easier? Any thoughts in comparison to using a second Omni?
here are my Skills
my setup now is "STABLE" it is a salvage fit mostly
Highs are - 150mm T2 gun - (2) Tractor beams, (2) Salvagers, - Drone link Aug
Mids are - (4) cap recharger II - Omni tracking link x2 or Omni tracking link and a federation stasis webifier
Lows are - (2) fed navy large reps - dmg control II - (4) hardeners based on mission
Rigs are - cap control circuit I x2 and cap control circuit II x1
if you have other suggestions please let me know also!
Like I said before it is (STABLE) with this build also. I am a pure Gallente character so I won't use anything else though besides Gallente mods or items that don't mention other factions etc.

According to the slotlayout and fitting i say it is a navy dominix.
I NEVER go with my droneships without 2 omnis.
Where do you have close (<10km) orbitting elite cruisers? Anyway, Gardes with 2 or 3 omnis should not really have troubles

If you'd use sentries, definately a omnidirectional trackinglink. Ogres havent got trouble dealing with cruisers, especially after 1 trackinglink, so you're prolly even better off getting a navigation booster! Drone flight time is what makes missions last longer. |

For "Elite" ships, try using the correct damage too (assuming you're not?). Using Garde II's against Elite angels doesn't work any where near as well as using Bouncer II's.

OMG I am sorry, I totally forgot to put that I am in a Navy Domi. I have been using a fed webifier and I do like it. It seems to work nicely and makes me feel like I am helping more you know? I also do use the eve mission web site and change sentries to be the appropriate damage type. Can anyone explain to me possibly how using two Omni tracking links is better than using one and a webifier? I am just wondering how much the second unit helps me compared to webing the target they are on anyway? Also I saw someone mention a navigation booster? I have never used that before, so how do you guys rate those? TYVM for any post!
PS. I kinda think a lot of my troubles stem from expecting to much or thinking that L4s are going to be as quick and easy as a L3 when obviously they are not and again obviously should not be. Now that is sinking in it does seem to be better overall really.

Omni will help you more. Webbers can hurt your drone dps since the transversal will go up.
