Sheet
I am looking to do L4 missions. I have more training towards Amarr and would rather fly them as opposed to Minmatar.
I just started doing L2's for Gallente and I hear the rats are more likely to be weak to EM/Thermal.
I am using a Beam harb now as I had the skills for it, will have t2 medium pulses in the near (less than 60 days) future. Eventually (sometime in the next year) I will move towards battleships.
Here is my current short term plan - let me know if priority looks off or what not. Keep in mind I will be getting a +3 chr implant before starting this so it should shave about 1d off.

Seems like you need more drone skills for amarr on lvl4s, multitasking is a bit meh, but why not? Your support skills are pretty good, everything I was going to suggest as a minimum seems to be there. Not sure you'll really need electronics upgrades 5, unless you're struggling with fitting. Otherwise, seems fine!
Good luck
PS, you've got an awful lot of rigging skills for someone who's only in BCs, each to his own ?I guess :)

Edited by: Virgil Travis on 20/04/2010 20:22:20 I would hazard a guess that he has those rigging skills so he can build his own, I got myself all the rig skills to lvl 1 so I can build them for myself and my corpmates.
If you get Scout Drone Op to 5 you can then use tech 2 small and medium drones, they do make a difference.

if you want to do lvl4 you need bs... youll get standings for lvl4 sooner than it might look like (way sooner than 2 months)... with that in mind you might want to fix you tanking skills (compensations to 4), get amarr bs4 before going for t2 guns...
and electronic upgrades V? i dont think youll be fitting anything that is affected by that... |

Also, you really don't need to worry about the compensation skills for mission-running. They only affect passive hardeners (e.g. EANMs) and in missions you really should be using active, damage-specific hardeners. Now you might occasionally throw a single EANM in against Angels or Drones, but the payoff on that training is going to be very minimal. I would possibly take them to level 3 for now because it's quick, but I suspect you can get even more bang for your buck elsewhere. Level 5 is incredible overkill for something that will probably increase your relevant resists by about 0.3% in some situations and 0% in most.

Amarr BCs can't do far too many of the L4 missions - Harby can't tank'em, Proph can't gank'em. You need to get into BS. And that means training Large Energy 5 to go for Large Pulse Spec because Scorch is the business.
At some point you'll need AWU 5 - for a Pally certainly, but I think you can do T2 Pulse Apoc and Abby with just IV.
Get Gallente Drone Spec up to 3/4, and Drone Interfacing to 4. Scramming frigs must die. It's probably worthwhile training Caldari drones as well vs Serps and Angels.
You don't need the shield comp as Amarr at all. The Armor Comp is surprisingly useful, particularly when you are trying to fit 3 heat sinks into 1 Abby.
Did you mean to leave out Sharpshooter and Surgical Strike?

Edited by: THE SOP on 23/04/2010 21:42:06 Re drone skills, try and get "Drone interfacing" up to 4 before you try lvl4s as it gives a 20% bonus to damage per level, *Edit didnt realise it was mentioned above.

That was more of a short term plan that I have now switched up a bit (removed shield comp skills, moved energy upgrades to end of year plan etc). My shorter term plan now contains about 2 weeks of social skills, and a bunch of int primary skills I am going to get out of the way before doing a remap for the heavy perception part of my 1 year.
I do have sharpshooting/surgical strike/AWU 5 and a crap ton of drone skills in the 1 year plan, along with t2 large pulses. I had not considered the other races drones but I am adding those.
Thank you all for the feedback.
