Edited by: Mackenzie Lynn on 23/04/2010 08:50:13 Title says it all pretty much if im flying my loki eguipped with the interdiction nulifier subsystem, can i warp right thru interiction bubbles in 0.0 with no trouble?
Another quick Q, Using a T3 with the interdiction nulifier, covert reconfiguration, and the other sub that increase scan probe strength, does that pretty much make it the ultimate 0.0 exploration/scouting ship?
Just would like to know these things before i risk a 500mill isk ship on my first trip out to 0.0.
thanks

You might want to put a few stabs on just in case a ceptor gets lucky and gets a point on you. Theoretically if you do the warp cloak thing you should be 100% safe, but this is eve. **** happens. Always go for extra safe.

"Loki Propulsion - Interdiction Nullifier (subsystem) The origins of the first ônullifierö designs are shrouded in mystery, but the subsystemÆs initial production of is thought to have taken place soon after the wormhole openings, and well before the technology became widespread knowledge. Not long after the first Tengu were designed, the Caldari Navy intercepted emergency transmissions from Guristas fleets across Venal, Tenal and Vale of the Silent. All of the reports made mention of Loki-class vessels slipping past defensive deployments and into core Guristas territory despite all efforts to stop the ships or slow them down.
Subsystem Skill Bonus 5% increased agility per level
Role Bonus Immunity to non-targeted interdiction
Skills Required Minmatar Propulsion Systems I Navigation V"
this means that bubbles wont affect you in any form. there was a trick where if a bubble was launched once warp was inititaited it wud cancel the warp and u would need to select warp again, by that time a ceptor may have a point.
please dont fit stabs on, if there is a camp, it wont matter how much stabs you got, may aswell fight your way through.

Personally I wouldn't fly a gimped fit like that but by all means, go for it. The first T3 we ever killed had interdiction nullifier, covert sub and several stabs fitted. Bumped him out of warp with my Inty and shortly after the HIC had infinite point on him. Due to the gimp fit he had neither tank nor speed nor dps so needless to say he dropped in seconds. Might as well fly a covops if you fit like that...

I said a few stabs. Like a couple. They will not save you in a huge camp, but if you get unlucky and get pointed by a ceptor you will be fine. The Loki for this purpose should have a Shield tank in any case so it wont really gimp your setup, unless you plan on doing damage with the ship.

Well this particular setup along with the Emergent Locus Analyzer which gives a serious bonus to scan probe strength only leaves the ship with 3 low slots. So thats pretty much one free low slot as the other 2 would have my neccesities in them. But then that drops my gyro or trackn enhancer. So i think itd be better to just make a run for it with no stabilizers.
Basically i prefer to use a passive shield setup. With those subs i end up with around 70-85 percent resist to everything for shield. Over 10k shield HP and 98 hp/per sec passive regen. So it can take some punches for long enough to get me back to the gate. Those resists are without any hardener as well.
Thanks for the input though.

If you want to kill things in it, the subs you have ruin the ship for any kind of PVP in my opinion. If you want to turn it in to an overpriced shuttle that is safe for 0.0 then why put DPS mods etc on it. Put nanos etc, stuff that makes it do what it is supposed to well.
But to each their own. Just my 0.2 isk.
Cheers.

You could also make the ship useful by adding 3 gang boost mods as well. Slightly better bonuses than on command ship, plus the semi-immunity.
I would still suggest using a cheap agile ship as the scout, since lag on huge camp, or unlucky jump-in point (<2km from an object -> can't decloak once your invulnerability cloak wears off).
