I'm sure this has been covered before but it still hasn't been introduced.
Can we please have Ctrl+Click to unlock targets via the 'locked targets' list. This would make things so much more efficient when using a logistics ship instead of having to select the target then unlock it via the overview. [It's a pain when you're trying to micro-manage].
While I'm on the subject, I would also like to propose Ctrl+Lock Via the breadcast window because it just seems stoopid that it's there for the overview and also the watchlist but not the broadcast window [Again, you have to rightclick>lock, which makes it a pain when you're trying to micro-manage].
Anyone else agree?

I've caught myself trying to Ctrl + Click from the broadcast window a lot.

I agreee hoever i think a ctrl + left click to lock and ctrl + right click to unlock. Becuase generally in pvp i tend to click more than once of thing and it would be annoying it unlocking when i was targeting. _______________________________________________ Regards Davo |

This is such a basic thing to implement, and yet such a helpful addition to eve.

Ctrl + Click on a Mac brings up the contextual menu (i.e. Ctrl + Click = Right Mouse Click). Could break things for Mac users ...

I play on a mbpro myself using bootcamp but also have the client installed on the mac side. I know what you mean, but I'm sure between the mac community we can find a solution/different shortcut.
Also i think Ctrl+Right click may also be a good option, but it depends on what works best ergonomically.

An easy way to unlock targets is so much needed in in my belief the single most important thing missing in the UI. +1

I agree with quick unlocking. Perhaps a target icon to the right of the ship could be clicked. Clicking other icons to the left of the ship turns off modules, so clicking a target icon is a natural solution to turning off the lock.
I also HATE it when a stargate is locked and my modules start on an indestructible target instead of the red player. Lost a Rook that way. Indestructible targets should be immune to targeting, or at least an option should be allowed to prevent locks of non-red targets or of indestructible targets. The key to pvp is effective fleet teamwork. |

I guess that would make sense. But the exact keys wouldn't really matter to me. I don't care how it happens, unlocking should be just as easy as locking.
