Ok, i really hope these are just placeholder stats and will be adjusted.
I just compared a Large Amarr control tower BPO (current NPC price 360m) with a large pulse laser BPO (current NPC price 9m)
the Large (!) tower takes 15 units each of 8 different tier 4 products, the pulse battery takes 2 of each, so the entire large controltower only takes 7.5x more mats to make then a lousy pulse laser battery
in other words if current prices are any aim or indicator with these numbers the Large tower would be as cheap as 67.5m isk (ca. 1/5 of current price) OR the large battery would be 48m a piece (over 400% more then now)
that does not seem balanced, either the material needs need to be tweaked or the output numbers of things like pos mods needs to be increased

Its just placeholders and random numbers they put in the BPO. Balancing isnt over yet anyway and will be done in 2 weeks prior to release. I am pretty sure none of the numbers in the PI related stuff are final and if ever released on sisi prolly just 3-4 days before expansion release. Recruiting │My 3rd Party Service |

yes because given that you use mutated livestock and planetary vehicles to make a lot of this stuff I kind of doubt the developers intend for us to be playing Voltron Mutant Ninja Pigs in Space here. *.* *.* *.* *.* *.* *.* *.* *.*
Stop freaking worrying about why things the developers did 5 years and more ago no longer make sense. |

they are placeholders only. Just look at the difference between some of them, they are exact same qty for a large vs a medium of the same kind of item.

Uh well at 2 weeks before release I kind of expect the majority of balancing to be, uh you know, done.
Yeah, i've been playing EVE for several years, I know it's not how they do things, but one would think that after how many maaaassive issues at live releases (uh like all of them since I started in late '06) they would have clued in. I can understand some fine tuning needed maybe but this is prety big degree of balancing.
Two weeks before release you expect to be seeing some minor graphics updates, bugs getting addressed, people being able to get a feel for what they can do, and some idea of how expensive things will be based on the usage ratios available for the materials. Not having everything change a few days before it comes out.
Seems this expansion is getting fast-tracked quite a bit, I forsee Dust out for Christmas and they need to get it in live and into testing there so it's ironed out before then. Not to mention the need to get the code changes for the Dust framework into EVE and more or less finalised so they can build up from there. Wonder how many issues it will cause getting them tied together. I suggest now, in addition to having sisi running it when it does come out, you also make Dust available to existing eve players a month, maybe 2 is better, before the public release, so it can be tested on both ends by people who have the appropriate knowledge of how eve works. Perhaps suggesting it now will let us get some proper testing time into it.
/me makes note, apply for CSM when finished school
