Posted - 2010.05.06 08:57:00 - [1] As per tradition, after the initial presentation of the Resort VII , at IGS, now it's revealed our entertainment arena at space. In commemoration of the fall of Amarrian loyalist influence over G-5EN2 system in Providence the Archaeus of Blood/Final Stand invite the bravest battleship captains of the region to come and fight in a Sani Sabik Gladiator Style of blood and conquest for high stakes and the honour of the new Faith that now rules the System. A few years ago we had the honour to present new Eden with the Death or glory - auctoramentum gladiatorium, a wonderful event of massive presence. This time, the gladiator games will be a little different, in form of DUELS. Every Capsuleer, with a minimum pilot license of 3 months and fitting the bellow requisites can be a gladiator and make a name for themselves. Each Captain is invited to come here and challenge another capsuleer to a duel of battleships, following the terms: * Pilots will be duelling in G-5 system contesting in close quarters ( starts 0 km) and conflict with their rival until only one ship is remaining, thereupon the winner will advance and have the rights to return here and make his next challenge. * Eliminated combatants are out of the games. * Captains will issue their challenge here and a max period of 24 hours will be left for the challenged part to reply. If there's no response, the challenger is asked to make another choice of opponent and the first challenged Captain is automatically eliminated from participating at the games. * Each duel will be watched by 2 Sani Sabik officers, the press and a neutral witness to be chosen at the moment. * The Duellists will have to be proven to be legit pilots and a prior investigation will be conducted before acceptance. * Duels must happen between pilots of different Organizations. * Pilots needs to be in a minimum 5 men corporation or alliance to participate. * Battleships may be any class of tech1 vessel (tiers 1,2,3) with the single limitation of fit that no direct ECM/ECM Burst modules are to be equipped, and no ECM drones allowed in the drone bays. Tracking disruption and damping is permitted. * Warping out of the combat or destroying the opponents capsule is forbidden and will bring immediate disqualification. * Only duels accepted and recognised by me here officially will be considered valid. * The Duels will continue until one Pilot reaches the mark of 10 consecutive victories standing with a record of all other ships blown to pieces leaving his ship drifting serenely in the aura of his triumph (and the debris field of the fallen opposition). The victorious Captain will be awarded 2.000.000.000.00 ISK (2 Billion isk) immediately after the 10Th victory is recognised here. The spectacle and violence of these proceedings is dedicated to the warrior-spirit raised and unleashed against the corrupt regime of the holders and the fallen decadence of the CVA. It is fitting to anoint the worlds of G-5EN2 with blood and courage through Sani Sabik ritual that was denied the system in the matter of the CVAÆs humiliatingly bloodless retreat just a month ago. Let true fighters rise and contest in scarlet passions, ripping the void with the energy of guns and fury. To officially open the games I'd like to invite our last champion Nidia Master to be the first challenger. I declare these games are open and invite the fighters of New Eden to claim their championÆs portion ... if they are able. Hallan Turrek is a notable and worthy foe so the fight should most certainly please everyone involved regardless of outcome. Lady Neferis, you seem to be doing a fine job of getting me into violent situations of late, though I really can't say I'm not enjoying every minute of it.
