Primary designation: Dust 514 Ground Combat Element. Secondayr designation: EvE Online Corporation, Logistics and Combat Support Element [LCSE]
Website: http://cmchq.lefora.com/
EvE Corp: Colonial Marine Corps LCSE [LCSE]
CMC at this time is not associated with any existing EvE online corporation or alliance, nor is it going to be purely a mercenary group. I do intend that CMC will play a significant role in determining the outcome of the ongoing battle over 0.0 space. My secondary objective is to enable the CMC player base to retain a high operational tempo 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Colonial Marine Corps was designed from the top down to essentially be a conglomerate of small independent thinking groups, with a stable centralized command element to establish a unified goal oriented mentality across the organization. These small independent thinking groups which we designate as platoons will be separated by time slots in which members of CMC typically find themselves playing. As a platoon in a specific time slot becomes large enough, it's players will be encouraged to branch off and create new platoons, even exclusive niche platoons may be formed, thereby creating a company of several platoons which play during a specific time slot. CMC will also be broken down into divisions which contain players who feel more comfortable speaking a specific language. For example, the First Division is geared for English speaking CMC members, whereas at some time in the near future, the Second Division may be geared for German, French or Russian speaking players. By this method, CMC plans to conduct operations 24 hours a day on any given day.

Around her neck she wore a studded collar!
She wore it in the spring time and in the month of May!
And if you ask just why she wore the collar!
SheÆll say she wore it for that young Marine whoÆs in to whips and chains!
Whips and chainsà àWhips and chains!
She wore it for that young Marine whoÆs into whips and chains.

"Another glorious day in the Corps. A day in the Marine Corps is like a day on the farm; every meal a banquet, every pay check a fortune, every formation a parade. I love the Corps!" ~Gunnery Sergeant Al Apone (Aliens - film)

There are only two kinds of people that understand Marines: Marines and the enemy. Everyone else has a second-hand opinion.

Damn! That image you used is the cover from "Enders Game" and I just read that book. I thought I saw it before when I got the book handed to me.
What if all of THIS is not a game?

POINT MAN. When moving with a fixed team, the team leader should designate one team member as the point man. The team leader will still maintain control of the team, deciding the manner in which the team will move and its overall goals, however the point man will choose the route the team will take during movement. The team will base their movement and tactical formation off the point man. Designate the team member that is most likely to survive initial contact with the enemy as your point man.

The purpose of the CMC Ground Combat Element (GCE) is to engage and destroy the enemy in close combat. All members of CMC are a part of the GCE. Every CMC Marine will have a basic set of ground combat skills which may be dictated or strongly suggested by GCE command. The GCE may also be broken down into smaller parts, such as an Air Corps, an Armor Corps, an Engineering Corps etc... GCE command will attempt to spread load those who choose to specialize in a specific Corps across the various platoons within the CMC in order to better ensure that Marines with these special sets of skill are present in all engagements.

ALL AROUND SECURITY: Most important while working as a team is trusting that your team members are paying attention to their surroundings. The concept of all around security better ensures that enemy movement within sight is detected by ensuring that there are eyes looking in all directions and eliminating a compulsive need for all members of the team to look in all directions at once. This concept applies in stationary positions as well as while you move in formation with your team.

The purpose of the CMC CE is to provide CMC Marines with stable leadership around the clock. It is the responsibility of the CMC Officer Corps to ensure that all Marines are engaged as a team and working toward a greater goal which may be dictated by higher. Officers will ensure that the gaming environment does not become stagnant and remains fun for all CMC members. No CMC Officer will be below the age of 20. All CMC Officers will be trained in basic warfare theory and combat maneuvers.

Bah! Those new plastic e-tools are a joke.
Got one of the old ones. Heavy with the "axe edge". Once got mad and chopped a hole in a floor with it.
