I have done about 70 lvl 4 missions without getting "Worlds Collide" mission yet. I have about 25 lvl 4 mission agents now. What can I do to increase my chances in getting this mission on a regular time frame? |

I've already seen it 3 times in like 15missions. You just have a stroke of bad luck (though I don't particularly like this mission, so maybe I'm having a stroke of bad luck, hmm...) |

Wether you get it may also depend on in which region you are, or rather which faction you are doing missions for. (i know it works like that with the blockade)
Either way the only good thing about that mission is the chance on faction spawns. |

Yup. In m mission locale, I get TONS of Worlds Collide, but NEVER EVER EVER get The Blockade. I hear the chance of faction on Blockade is considerably higher than in Worlds Collide. I sure hope so because I've done WC easily 25 times and seen faction drop twice. |

I asked this question about 2 months ago as I also noticed World's Collide became rarer. I think I went over 200 missions across 3 characters accessing numerous agents, with a month of trying before it showed up finally. It definitely has become a lot less common for me but it's still there. |

Zornia Estemaire wrote:What can I do to increase my chances in getting this mission on a regular time frame? Ensure that the agents you run for have it in their mission pool; only run missions for those agents; and keep spamming missions.
It's all random so there's no way to affect what missions you will get from the agent, but that randomness still has to be applied to something GÇö in the case of agents, it's a list of missions that they can give you, and this list will be different for each agent (although agents in the same general area will tend to have many missions in common since they all belong to the same faction and exist within an area with the same pirate GÇ£homeGÇ¥ faction).
GǪof course, given the nature of randomness, it's a bit tricky to determine for certain whether an agent does have a specific mission in their pool (or a whole lot of work, which will still not result in any absolute guarantees). If you can name some 30GÇô40 missions that a given agent gives you, and the mission you're looking for is not on that list, then you can be somewhat certain that the mission in question isn't in his or her pool. The problem is that figuring out that list can happily take several hundred mission requests to compile.
GÇ£If you're not willing to fight for what you have in GëívGëí you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.GÇ¥

Actually - the good part about World's Collide is that you have a 100% chance on faction spawns if you do it correctly. |

Kind of... I think the mission got changed recently so there's no more warping in and out until the faction rat pops up, they're there from the start with 'supervisor' or similar in their name. I haven't gotten a high bounty one or one that drops faction loot yet though. Mission reports seem to indicate that the chances are about the same, just less of a pain. |

I have seen a faction rat in every pocket since some time in March. It all depends on how you use the gate to the pockets.

There's always a supervisor in each "base". It just doesn't always have a high bounty or faction. The prevailing thought is that the ones with bounties over 1M isk have a chance to drop faction. The higher the bounty, the higher the chance. At least that's the prevailing belief right now. |

Is this something new then? I know for a fact there wasn't Supervisors there everytime a while ago. The frequency of 1+ Million ISK rats is still quite high. Last time I got the mission and farmed 14 pockets I had 6-7 above 1 Million. |

Yes, now there is a Supervisor in each "base" pocket. They just don't always drop faction or have high bounties. Been this way at least since April.
Back in the day, there was a chance at spawning a faction "Overseer". As I remember, there was a chance to spawn it every time someone warped into the pocket. So you would just get a bunch of people in fast aligning and warping frigs and just keep round-tripping into that pocket. On a long enough timeline, you got the overseer. That spawn ALWAYS dropped faction loot, it was just ammo most of the time (in my experience).
As for 1M isk+ bounty rats. There's plenty. Serpentis seem to have the best ones. Sansha is close behind. |

I had a 3M bounty supervisor drop nothing a couple months back. And by nothing, I mean nothing... not even regular meta mods. FML.

I've run this mission a few times in the last month or so. Had a supervisor every time. Only once did I get loot from the wreck "Miners mine so I don't have to." ~Metal Icarus |

Yeah, as discussed above, the supervisors are there every time. They're just not worth a damn most of the time. I'm in the same boat as you, most of the time the supervisor drops nothing at all. But, then again, most of the time the supervisor is a lower bounty than some of the regular BS rats in the pocket. Especially true for Serpentis/Guristas WC - The Serpentis BS rats are usually 800k-1.2M isk bounty, supervisor is often in the 500k range. fml. |

Some agents don't give out certain missions, ran missions for 2-3 months without getting Worlds Collide, Guristas Spies, Guristas Extrav.
Farmed like 2 million LP without getting any of those 3 missions ever and neither did some friend who ran missions there at some point either.
Petitioned it and explained pretty much what I just said above and got the standard crap reply about "it's random bad luck" etc.
And after 2 million LP it certainly isn't just bad luck, not that I wanted Guristas Spies but the other 2 are better than many of the other caldari agent missions! |

Worlds Collide and The Blockade are sought after because of the chance at faction drops. The reality is that the time it takes to clear them vs. the extremely low chance at a valuable faction spawn ends up making them fairly poor missions in terms of isk/hour. I understand why people want them, but I don't think people really stop to think about the practical considerations.
I'll take Gone Berserk, Angels Extravaganza and Damsel in Distress any day over those missions. |
