Some times you get some decent kills too.
OP
Learn to use gate sentry, learn to deal with de agress and when to OL everything t'ill it burns !!
Join low sec corp/alliance, it's an awesome place to be and quite safe for new players if you do it right, plus you get isk by tons when you learn to do it right.

Except of course if you're looking for fun. Fights tend to be more entertaining in lowsec than in nullsec.
You're wrong.
DED 5 and 6 sites are quite easy to do once you have decent skills and you know, it's not like if B-C types weren't expensive and easy drops out there Rats bounty for 1.5M, Commander rats spawn up to 13M with nice drops, Magnetometric sites vomiting isk, Radar sites for excellent named Data Chips revenue and BPC's. Lvl4 and 5 missions with tons os isk/LP's, FW isk fountain, if you can't choose how to win tons of isk you have an issue You can also learn to weasel and get pimpy ships kills (often loot decently) or just ransom them and this can pay more than drops sometimes on the long run, if you honour your ransom you will find that guy again soon if don't chances are you'll never see it back, learn to maintain your isk garden etc
Then yes you get killed more often but what's the problem? - there is no problem, it's normal and can even be very fun, just learn to accept it and deal with it, just go kill some rats at 1.5M bounty and get your loss back in couple min rating.
There's a huge difference in between low sec/high sec revenue, if you manage to win more isk in high sec than low sec you're doing it wrong all the way. brb |

If you want an adrenaline rush over the prospect of danger while you earn ISK (or hunt others), w-space is where you need to be. Not only do we not care about CONCORD here, but we also don't have our hands held by free intel in Local. If you want to be safe, you make yourself safe. If you want to catch people, you hunt and stalk them. When you are salvaging, and see someone decloak next to you at optimal range, or if you are in a fleet about to ambush someone and are suddenly counter-ambushed, the adrenaline flows freely.
More than any other area in the game, your survival and success in w-space depends on your real life ability to use the toys in the sandbox effectively; almost nothing is handed to you, unlike in the rest of the game. The only difference numbers makes is your ability to pick a larger variety of targets, and to make ISK faster with a little bit more safety. There is no faster way to make ISK than in w-space (without a Tech monopoly or use of "creative game mechanics"), and rightly so.
Visit the Wormholes section on the forum and browse through the topics there. You will not be disappointed, as long as you understand and accept that you will eventually lose ships and pods. We all have before, and we all will again.

I live in low as a frigate pilot because I'm addicted to the game of 'fight on the sentries'.
I'm also into brinkism and a lot of crazy drugs. Dirty heretical mud-child, reporting in. // Throwing one's hands up in the air and crying 'cal-matar nonsense!' seems to be the new dismissive these days when someone is being neither relevant nor dignified. |

Everything you just said. - Danger - Adrenaline Rush (maybe) - PVP
Quote:I would consider PVP but i fear damaging my sec status and being hunted by concord in high sec.
So long as you don't shoot first, there is no penalty for defending yourself. Also, you can farm Sec back up. |

Another low-sec frigate pilot here. I left the boredom of high-sec a little over a year ago and I've never looked back. I would recommend to just fit yourself a handful of frigates, go to low-sec and see what happens GÇô you are either going to like it (probably) or not (less probably). If you like it, start looking for a pirate corp. Most of the ones that I've met so far are pretty decent people and some of them actually recruit inexperienced players and teach them the trade.
And, as others have already said, if you don't shoot first, leave pods alone and pop the occasional belt rat, your security status shouldn't suffer too much. darmwand Repossession Agent http://www.repo-corp.net/ Recruitment is OPEN |
