Anyone else excited about playing it? I don't think it'll be a stretch to think it'll be game of the year, or one of gamespots coveted perfect 10 scores. It's not often I can say that about something, let alone something that isn't released yet. It'd have to be pretty buggy to be bad though I think.. Have to say I was puzzled by the choice of the time setting, I was expecting late 19th century not early 20th but it's shaping up nicely, seeing the old and new meet in a less than subtle way, when I first read about the game I never thought for a minute it would be set a couple of years before WW I, but it is and I honestly think Rockstar have created something special here, I've only scratched the surface but I'm hooked, if you have a PS3 or 360 get it you wont be disappointed, and that's only after 4+ hours and a couple of filleted fingers. It's fair to say I'm an older gamer and very fussy but this a very pleasant surprise, more info to follow. /me whistles for mah horsey again......

My only complaints are regarding the free roam multiplayer. I consider the multiplayer a 'bonus' anyway, as it's all about the single player. But: -Free roam is pretty buggy and needs some gameplay tweaks (getting camped in a PVE mission area spawn point with a knife is no fun) -Free roam, I thought, would let us run around robbing banks and maybe even upgrading our own hideouts or whatever. I was disappointed to find there is no way to interact with anything in the banks besides walking around. Hopefully they introduce more interactivity into the free roam, I think it should be more like the single player minus the story content. Single player is amazing. Multiplayer still has lots of fun to be had despite minor disappointment with free roam. PS - another clever innovation: Rockstar have tied the game in with their "Social Club" community, and they appear to be continually issuing new challenges (kind of like achievements) for you to pursue on a regular basis, as well as comparing a wide array of stats and things to other players. Maybe you're bad at racking up kills, but you can be a player that is the most successful at cheating at poker, or hunting bears, or something... One time, it was the first hand of the game, and I ended up getting a full house of 3s over 4s, (crappy house, but there was nothing else anybody could have had) and so I started betting aggressively. One of the others took me up on my bets and we got up to all but like 8 chips from our hand...
