Originally by: Aesynil Step 2) Party X opens trade. Party Y puts the correct amount of ISK into the trade window (Let's say 300M for a Plex, or whatever) Step 3) Party X sees this, and puts his item in, and goes to click Accept Step 4) In that 2-3 second window, Party Y QUICKLY changes his price to 2ISK, and hits Accept again quickly, hoping the mark doesn't notice.
Should, after step 3), the offered ISKs not automatically reset to 0?
My point is, if I change something on a deal then the items pop back into my hangar in order to create a clean, new deal. This should be the exact same for any number of ISKs entered. If that is not the case then CCP did not do their homework correctly! --

CCP relies on their players to do the homework themselfs.
If you sell an expensive item and don't even care to double check the amout you get, then you're a moron.
don't be a moron. simple as that.

No, the idea is that u change it while they are rolling their mouse to click accept. After they drop the item but before they click, thats when u change it.

Edited by: Whitehound on 23/05/2010 08:55:11 You are both wrong. The idea is that the one who places the items into the window also is the one who enters the number. The trade window should not allow for double deals.
If one wants to give another player items for free then that is ok. If one wants to give ISK with nothing in return then they shall use the "GIVE MONEY" interface and not the trade window. I think that the scam only works because the trade window allows to give items and ISK for free both at the same time. --

Use contracts, always.
Any item (like boosters) that doesn't allow contracts most often will allow reverse (WTB) contracts so you have no excuse.
