I didn't notice anything in the patch notes, but it seems that ships have a significantly lower velocity now when undocking as compared to their speed pre-tyrannis.

This is listed in the patch notes:
Quote:
A station model which created undock problems has been altered. Ships will no longer bounce around while undocking.
But they did not mention any change to the velocity of undocking..... It was set so that all ships would undock at 800m/s (IIRC) sometime before...Apocrypha was it? It seems that ships now exit stations at significantly less than 800m/s
....I really wish this kind of stuff was clearly disclosed in the patch notes

how can you say that? Have you forgotten that the patch notes are created automatically? There are no stealth nerfs and every line in the patch notes is created automatically by a program that knows English, proper grammar and can basically think.
There was this thread where someone laughed about fixed typo being listed in the bugfix section. Look it up for proof.
I hope I could be of help. At your service.
EDIT: I found it: Any fix or change which has an effect on the client is noted in patch notes.

I was not aware that patch noted are created automatically, and I do not have any proof of this other than my own observations and the confirmations from other people who have posted in this thread. I cannot find where I got that number of 800m/s from, but for some reason that popped into my head and I believe it may have been a dev blog or patch notes...

Patch notes are not created automatically. If you are not absolutely blind, you'd see it yourself, when devs mention that they will add or remove some stuff from patchnotes to make them more clear. -- Thanks CCP for cu |

After some further experimentation around "kick out" stations, it appears that some larger ships (namely capitals), which previously would be "kicked out" past docking range when they undocked and before the session change expired, will now remain within docking range during the entire 30 seconds of session change, thus allowing them to easily re-dock. "Instaundock" bookmarks do not seem to have been affected, and still allow you to warp after undocking with no chance of anyone obtaining a lock on you.
Yes admittedly I am biased on this matter, but it appears that CCP has nerfed piracy yet again

Since I started playing, just about every change made to the game has had the express purpose of making non-consensual combat less likely to occur. Not at all cool. I only play to turn carebear blood into isk. It's like big game hunting. Pre-planned, pre-arranged consensual fighting has no appeal to me. If I wanted that I would play a game such as shooter with more interesting combat system.

ALL ships used to undock at a very high velocity prior to tyrannis (regardless of their size, this was very handy for catching capital pilots as soon as they undocked). Consequently, ALL ships would be ejected beyond docking range on these so-called "kickout stations" before their session change would be up.
Some ships still do undock at a high velocity due to their inherently high maximum speed, and are still susceptible to being "kicked out past redock range" before their session change is up.

Tell that to the 8+ gang who came in today with 2x Kronos, Nighthawk, Damnation and assorted HACs and BC and ran away from us and jumped to the safe haven of Balle lol. I wasn't even ordered to undock before they ran.
Tell that to the fools who paid a ransom for their Rorqual they cynoed TO THE SUN.
How can you blame US for pilot stupidity and playing better than the people who come in looking to "gank some noob pirates". Ha.
Methinks you should learn more about where WE live and what ACTUALLY happens in Decon before opening your mouth. No I've got it, just stay in 0.0

So far, I warped to a station and must have got too close when i came out of warp because next thing I know, I'm being catapulted away from the station at top speed, my ship spinning over and over.
Nice fix CCPee.

Actually, the way you describe bewildered animals being trapped and driven to their deaths does sound like big game hunting, you're right and stop being so sensitive, wasn't blaming you for anything. Spent long enough as an outlaw to know what it's like. Anyway, we're not in 0.0 as such, we're in wspace, panda hunting.

You mean like HIC's?
Or the nerf to stabs?
Or 6 second combat probing?
Or lack of local in w-space?
In Tyrannis? Sending missioneers into lowsec more then ever, and virtually removing the solo-L5's from highsec?

Hmm, but couldn't a cap just jump once session change timer is near its end, assuming he's got a cyno monkey on standby? How could you stop that?

Admittedly this was really the only way to ensure your safe escape previously (in lowsec at least, I don't think you can jump if you are bubbled (and bubbles at a kickout station in 0.0 were no fun)). But now unless the capital pilot is a complete and total ****** (as opposed to only needing to be a semi ****** pre-tyrannis) there really isn't much you can do to pewpew them
Also, I've read about the changes to missions and now allegedly more being given out in lowsec, but I haven't really seen much of this yet where I like to hang out (yes I do venture outside of the decon pocket )

Nerf to station camping \o/
(Really if you enjoy so much shooting targets that dont have a chance in hell of doing something back, why not just run missions?)
Quote: Also, I've read about the changes to missions and now allegedly more being given out in lowsec, but I haven't really seen much of this yet where I like to hang out (yes I do venture outside of the decon pocket
You also wont see them since everyone in their right mind just moves to agents deeper in high sec that dont give missions to low sec. These stupid changes only decrease the amount of targets you will get in low sec long term (then again looking long term instead of just wanting easy targets now has never been a strong point of pirates).
