They just did it last patch. I haven't heard any plans for future randomisation. ______________________ Agony Unleashed Home of the PvP University |

i don't think that's correct. I've been keeping track of plasma planets and they're all still where they were before the patch.. |

Not every planet was moved. I noticed and confirmed some changes post-patch in my area. One system had a plasma planet nearby that doesn't anymore, whereas another one had no plasma planet and now does, and two systems which had plasma planets still have plasma planets.

I'm not taking any chances, I'm only going to do an inventory in my neighborhood after the patch is deployed on the 8th.

From the Tyrannis patch notes: "The type of 38,213 planets has been changed, resulting in a more realistic universe as well as a balanced distribution of resources for Planetary Interaction."
As mentioned, that's not all planets, since there are 67,253 in game (according to someone), so some will have moved and some will have stayed in place.

The planet next to the stargate to Shema in the Asrios system used to have a high population, with lots of pretty lights on the night side. Now it's barren.
So at least some planets have changed. [Aussie players: join ANZAC channel] |

It's the only way to be sure.
