Unfortunately you need to be ****ant Legion or Vuk in order to have that kind of influence.
PL is still sticking to their usual damagecontrol. When they are all out of excuses and lies they stick to smacking. They are like the NC, when the going gets tough they whine to ccp.

It seems to me there's a lot of snivelling and whining about what could be an easy fix. CCP, everytime there's an 'exploit', perhaps you can create an 'exploit killer'. In other words, if someone's using bubbles, why not create a way to research a 'bubble killer' component that can be mounted onto a ship/ships, and can be activated before jumping into a system protected by a bubble? A legitimate counter for a legitimate tactic. Just a suggestion.
A good social program is a job.

You know you're scraping the bottom of the barrel when you're in BoB and suggesting others have undue influence over GMs.
You should stop crying and accept that no matter which way you spin it, you got caught out with a very lame attempt to cheat, not for the first time and I'm positive it won't be the last.

This coming from the guys that just got caught using a local exploit and harbor a criminal that attempts to hack in to every IP he can get.

I see you're still Mental, Dude.
I honestly don't know where you get these crazy delusions and wild accusations from. There's no evidence of any use of a "local exploit" and I don't see how an e-corp in an internet spaceships game can be accused of harbouring criminals - it's crazy talk, I think you're having difficulty distinguishing between reality and fiction.
In short, you're a balloon.

if they had setup the bubbles to cover a maxim area of effect so everybody would need to burn out 80KM perhaps it would be different but stacking them up all on top of each other only serves the reason to maximize the lag players jumping in experience and it gives the enemy better chances to kill the enemy while they are still loading the grid and are defenceless

Truly: CCP should allow bubbles in lowsec and highsec. The only drawback to using them there is you would get a GCC (in highsec, you would get Concorded).
Solution to all of our problems ^. CCP, make it happen. Also, fix webs, lag, and nano while you're at it. |

So CCP is helping one side with removing the Bubbles,if i'm not wrong? And again CCP got fingers in the game.
Bubbles are producing lag?Why u guys didn't removed any from H-W when there was over 1k people? Don't tell me in H-W wasn't that many bubbles,i saw about 10 on 1 single pos! Great job rly it's giving a reason for lot of people to stop play your game guys.

Edited by: Scott Wieland on 25/06/2010 16:36:01 I agree that having multiple bubbles set to overlap eachother is needed so a hole in the "no fly zone" can't be made quickly. However, if you do not have a fleet to engage on the gate to prevent this from hapening quickly then whats the point... Yes they are used to control gate access to cover caps on a pos bash and what not but stacking 50+ right ontop of eachother only serves to cause lag for any fleet jumping in. It is unfortunate that it would have to come down to a judgement call to determine if you are overkilling by stacking or putting up enough in tactical possitions in order to overlap. I will say that you can overlap large bubbles enough that you would still need to kill multiple bubbles in order to get a large number of your fleet members out rather then just one hole maybe a quarter of your fleet can warp out of quickly all the while the hostile fleet is engaging you. I can't remember ever being in a fleet and having an FC telling us to pop bubbles so we can warp out while being blasted by the bad guys short of only being 1-2 bubbles. Can this be sorted by increasing the distance between objects and the bubble in order to anchor them? And scale that distance by the size of the bubble your using? This would prevent extreme stacking.. or maybe some sort of penalty for too many bubbles overlaping causing a "feed back loop" so you can not anchor anymore? I don't agree with overkill when it comes to bubbles because it does lag me to death but when I was reading about this I could not help thinking... HEY why are you using 150 ships to fight 50... your exploiting the game by using so many to cause lag!! Sorry if any points I made here have already been said I did not read every reply here.

PL's greatest foe IS lag. It took 5 titan's away.
You all can't be serious about the idea that they didn't have a right to petition a lag fest bubble blob. You'd do the same thing if you had any brains at all.

You a NOOB? we all have to deal with the same issues, lag by blobs, lag by bubbles etc, we,ve all petitioned as one stage or another & we've recieved the same ccp response i'm sure.
Though the ccp response does remind me of Sargent Shulkz in Hogans Hero's WE KNOW NOTHING, NOTHING NOTHING.

Hi,
After long deliberation, done by our seniors and leads, and the weighing of facts and issues regarding this tactic, it was eventually decided that, for redundancy's sake, this is classified as a valid tactic and not an exploit. There is no limit to the amount of bubbles that can be placed.
I hope I have been able to answer all your questions regarding this issue.

I've just read page one and it strikes me as a pretty dumb solution to remove a few bubbles to counter lag... when they could have removed PL instead and been done with it. We all know it's fleet engagements that create lag, not bubbles :P Just logging in to the game creates lag... CCP should just delete EVE and then it's ok :P
