Hello all,
Hoping someone can help me with a drone problem. I'm currently using Valkyrie II's to run Brutor missions versus Angels, however my group of 5 drones take FOREVER to kill something as easy as an Angel Cruiser. Usually I can warp in with my Myrm, get aggro, but by the time my drones pop maybe two cruiser size ships, I'm already down to hull while having two t2 armor reppers going. Is there something I'm missing? I have the Combat Drone Operation skill trained to 5, with Minmatar Drone Specialization trained to 4, so my t2 medium drones should be putting out a decent amount of dps with those drones, but its not the case...

Drone Interfacing is 20% damage per level.
Battlecruisers (for myrm) is 10% per level.
Combat drone operation is 5% per level.
Drone navigation speeds DPS as it takes less time for drones to get started.
Are you overlooking these skills? Without them there is a big gap in your potential drone DPS.

All the others are trained to IV/V
Thanks!

Go to your skills. The last tab is options. Choose "Show all". You may find something else useful.

Use an omnidirectional tracking link (a drone upgrade module) on your Myrmidon and a drone navigation computer (another drone upgrade module) and a target painter, too. These will help in getting the drones' DPS onto your target, especially when you are up against Angels.
Get Drone Interfacing as soon as possible and get your drone support skills (tracking, speed) to at least III, too. These skills are worth every minute of their training time. --

Get Drone interface trained up, as well as battlecruiser. You might also look into getting a Navy Vexor which has the bandwidth to use 4 heavies. As for tanking, the Mrym has an obsene amount of lows so you should be able to fit two hardners per resist type, add an extra energized adaptive specific resist, or passive shield tank it.

If the OP uses a Myrmidon, i suppose that he is running level 3 missions, in which the heavy drones are over-sized : they will be slower, and will have not enough tracking to hit efficiently cruiser-sized targets. Medium drones are in my opinion perfectly adapted to level 3 missions.
