Some of the lower and mid level PI commodities are already used for POS fuel and outpost deployment and a couple are also used for T2/3 production and market speculation, but at least half of the commodities are new. Does anyone know yet what we will be able to produce with these commodities (I imagine since CCP is trying to get NPCs off the market that selling to them isn't the goal). Id especially like to know what the advanced and specialized commodities will be used for. -Xindi Kraid: Delivering acerbic wit and scathing comments with just a dash of 'stab you in the eye' |

Edited by: Xindi Kraid on 07/06/2010 07:02:03 Not what I am looking for. I know how to get the Advanced commodities. What I am looking for is what to do with them once I have them. What do I build with Wetware Mainframes and Sterile conduits after I've gone through the trouble of manufacturing them using the resources from half a dozen planets.
Also in light of the POS fuels only being halfway up the chain, it wouldn't surprise me to see some of the processed materials being useful for something other than just further processing planetside. -Xindi Kraid: Delivering acerbic wit and scathing comments with just a dash of 'stab you in the eye' |

It's also out of date and vague (or do you always trust a thread titled "Speculation" that cites a single post referring to something that hasn't been 100% finalized and dates back a month and a half)
I was hoping maybe someone might have more specifics; something along the lines of: You can build items x, y and z from commodity a, with x also requiring b and c. We have a bunch of tables spreadsheets and production trees saying how you get advanced commodities, I was thinking maybe someone was working on a bunch of spreadsheets on how to build an outpost from planetary resources. I guess I'll just interpret your lack of helpfulness to mean that northing's been seeded on SISI yet. -Xindi Kraid: Delivering acerbic wit and scathing comments with just a dash of 'stab you in the eye' |

So.. What you want is for someone to go through all the POS-module, outpost and sov-structure BPOs and make a chart for you?
Yeah, I'll get right on that

NO; The OP has the same question I do - it is great that we have all this new stuff to build, but what is the reason - why do we need it.
Some things are used already , like POS fuel, but what is a wet mainframe for? (for example).
is there even any need for this (yet?)

According to the Blueprint for an Amaar Control Tower, it requires 12 of them.

Weird...
The previous post has full list of possible uses already presented to you, hasn't it ?
