5/10. Some nice creativity, going beyond *just* "zomg mission nerf" (although still included) but still needs some thought. -1 for not realizing that preempting the "can i haz your stuff"ers only makes them worse.

Op stated that he was paying his 10 accounts and top of that he is paying character transfer fees.
Maybe he just realised what he would have get with that money and by having the normal 2-3 accounts, without fooling around with character transfer fees. Also, Geezelbub, these forums are just the same like AH2, IL2, wwiiol and others has.. It's the way how things goes now in internet. My advice, don't read forums, CCP has other channels for information, like devblogs and news.

I feel like ranting. Tyranis was a huge waste of time in my opinion, it didn't address anything in particular:
1. It was behind schedule: their was only one month of testing as the first two weeks you could only play with basic command centers that I lost interest in the entire expansion, release date was put off one week and PI didn't start for two more weeks after that no matter how much CCP is covering the smell of cow excrement with excuses of "so everyone can start at equal footing, scout out planets, ect"; you still can't use command centers till June 8th!
2. CCP took the easy way out with nerfs like removal of meta 0 loot (change reprocessing? worked with dominions T2 building requirements) and didn't even look into any real way to fix mining other then make it look lucrative; ITS BORING! and Hulks are still the easiest gank targets in EVE.
3. Right now I feel that the training I spent towards a Marauder was a waste of 2 months time for BS 5 and Large T2 guns (not to mention another previous year going from poorly skilled hulk plus 3 other racial battleship 4s before I discovered the Vargur ), T3 or some HACS can do the same thing but to switch to something else is averaging more then 200+ days I don't feel like paying a sub for that won't finish till after Christmas before I am satisfied with it. And before anyone else says grow some balls and fly in lowsec, please let me know how many T2 or faction battleships are flown in fleet battles that are not the highlight of the opening of summer . Marauders are not PVP ships! They are epeen enlargement supplements for carebear pilots and gankbear killmails.
I have considered rerolling another account, but the only thing I don't feel like retraining are all the basic stuff for ships again before I actually start on a T3 or HAC. Buying a character just doesn't interest me, its like wearing another person's dirty underwear with a stretched out waistband and a poorly scrawled, illegible name on the label
So in summary, right now I am feeling let down by EVE

Since I dont run missions, half of your dissertation doesn't effect me... even if I did run missions, they would be in 0.0.
Also I like how you rage about propulsion jamming. HOW DARE A NEW PLAYER JAM ME EVERY TIME!!!!
You act like allowing a new player to compete in PVP from the start is a bad thing. SO what if webs and scrams work all of the time, it would be stupid to have it be chance based. And then it would make dictors even more useful. But I guess since you probably never venture into 0.0, you wouldn't understand...
And the only bad post is yours!

10 accounts?
Based on your rants, I can say with all honesty you will hardly be missed. However, since I'm a glass half-full guy, here's a list of things you can do to occupy your time away from New Eden:
1. Clean up the massive piles of empty pizza boxes, cheetos bags, and Mountain Dew cans from your basement dwelling (don't forget to dump out all the ones you peed in because the game is more important than using the restroom). 2. Get a soapy sponge, lift one of your fat folds and proceed to wipe the dried sweat from under it. Then repeat that step for the rest of your folds. It's important to do that every once and awhile, because you can get sores in there (it's even worse if you're always in the basement, as you evidently are - it can get all moldy). 3. Call whatever crane company that will have to extract you from said basement, and make an appointment with your doctor. Get yourself checked for diabetes. If you haven't got your health, you really don't have anything. 4. That big glowing orange thing in the sky is called a "sun". It's not as pretty as the ones in Eve, and you can't warp to it, but it's nice to bask in it for as long as your cankles will allow. 5. Find a new game to play: WoW is full of people who are as incredibly juvenile, emo, whiny and socially awkward as yourself. You'll be right at home! 6. Don't come back. Keep your stuff. I've got enough of my own. 7. Resolve yourself to the fact that nobody really gives a rats arse if you're here or not. It's less drama for all of us, really.
That's all I've got. I really hope if you ever return to this game you'll find something with some substance to cry like a little girl about. Really, with all the problems in this game, that's what got under your skin?

Amen to that
hybrid weapons wouldn't need work if drones were nerfed. because its drones that are f'ing up the DPS curve for balance between ships, so they had to nerf hybrids so the galls didnt melt faces 100% of the time. think about it. In all other instances, turrets have a progression and its difficult to squeez extra power out of them. There's also the gunnery skills that factor into hit/miss.
drones and drone boats bypass all that nonsense. T2 warriors do twice as much damage, being a linear progression. All fitted weapons have a 1/2x curve progression of increased DPS.
If one weapon type (drones) is out of line with the progression of the majority of weapons, guess what's gonna F up the curve and make galls look overpowered so that hybrid guns get nerfed instead of drones? its not rocket surgery people.

- T2 battleships are for a specific task, if you don't see them in the dozens going pew pew every other gate, it's because of their role. - Faction battleships are rarely used but they are. Some faction modules are actually used quite often, expecially those that give an edge to specialized ships with bonuses i.e. on scram range. - In my brief (but nice) PvP experience with Dark Rising I have fought 2 battles with people in fleet having a marauder and 1 time a guy used a Raven State Issue (still in fleet) for the fu*k of it and managed to survive (edit: I know what the general stance is about using Ravens, but it was just too much awesome to see everyone go ape*hit seeing it). - People I PvPed with, used rigged BS even when rigs were rare & expensive. - Before having to leave due to RL lack of time, we went to 0.0. The corp would insure and pay back for free *ANY* ship up to including capitals. Lost your dread for the corp? Here, you get a new one.
This before we got dispro moons (already nerfed by the time) and before the new sov system that spawns plexes for you.

Here's the main problem. Having multiple accounts is bad both for you and for this game.
This TBH as I have stated before.
you see, when you use 16 accounts to do something, you cause deflation, particularly of each of your character's worth. Because you're putting more into the game to get surplus produce. If everyone only had one character, you would actually make money, because prices would inflate gradually, and each person would keep a constant labor value. Because you chose to make a bunch of different accounts, just like everyone else, all of people like you are contributing to the weakening of the labor value of each individual character, and thus you are staying poor compared to what you could've gotten.
When you open 10 accounts, you're trying to capitalize on surplus produce from all those accounts. thats what makes each individual character worth less. that in turn makes you worth less in labor value. so you have to work harder and longer to keep your value from dropping.
macro isk sellers certainly do just as bad to hurt this, but their isk gets removed from game when its found. yours is as a result of legitimate gameplay that can't be removed from the game by GMs, so you are weakening your position just as much, and each person with 1 billion extra accounts is doing the same thing. Its just like a capitalist. Your "main" is the one in charge, looking to make surplus value by exploiting the working type, in this case your extra accounts that are there to farm for isk. Like I said, it won't cause a collapse, but it certainly is lessening your value.
In effect it is as a consequence of competitive greed that everyone is in this boat. Don't like spending your whole life time to play eve to keep up? Well stop doing it. Everyone who gets fed up about it but continues is the terminal version of crazy/stupid. because the definition of crazy is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

@OP try to compare eve-forum to, e.g Darkfall forums. Just saying. I know that the douchebaggery somewhat overlaps and eve has the number "advantage" when it comes to ******ness and the influx from next generation idiots, who doesnt know anything else but acting like e-scum, generation e-brain etc, EvE promotes that, people talk crap and shoot lazors . And yes it also fits like a glove for people with nolife/students/unemployed/sociopaths/ and grown ups that like to roleplay e-***ots. Nothing new there.

I don't know if the underlined part actually follows. Stop and think about it for a moment - each person has a finite amount of time they can play and activities parallelize at different rates. This means that the potential is certainly higher for having more accounts but I think its extremely rare that its actualized that well.
For instance, ISK faucets (missions, plexing, ratting, and insurance) don't parallelize particularly well while ISK sinks (mining, market, manfuacturing) parallelize rather fantastically. So ultimately it seems like an increase in pilots without an increase in players actually acts as an overall ISK sink by virtue of increasing the market size and demand without overly incresing the overall ISK production... despite the higher potential revenue for the players.
Quote: macro isk sellers certainly do just as bad to hurt this
The thing that makes macros so bad is that they parallelize so well. They don't have the standard profile of players with multiple accounts (finite attention spans), and even their ISK faucet activities scale linearly with the number of pilots. I'm sure you can see that there's an extreme difference here.

What he says about the forums is quite correct, as confirmed by a substantial number of the pointless replies above. They can be found in any thread, immature airheads with nothing to say who cannot resist saying it anyway. Presumably, if their meaningless forum gibberish is anything to go by, nobody pays them any attention in RL either.
Also, many people (i.e. adults), are willing to pay $2.5k per year on gaming. After all, we didn't buy $10k networks of high-performance computers to play solitaire did we? We do, on the other hand, tend to know if we are getting value for our money or not.
