Veyr corporation is acquiring limited API keys on sign-up only to hack your accounts. They tried this on me but i was lucky they didn't find any useful skills yet, because this is my main and only has 1.6m sp's.
I urge everyone that wants to join their corporation that they are a scamm and they only want your API-key!
You have been warned...

You cannot "hack" an account with any API key. Only watch.

Edited by: Kalen Vox on 08/06/2010 18:52:53 For clarification:
This man is an agent of a hostile alliance who we have recieved intel are preparing to go to war against us. We recieved the tip-off shortly after we let him in to our corporation following a limited API check, which did not show any significant red lights. We then removed him from the corporation.
Good luck with your future endeavours, smurf3t. I hope I will not have to deal with this sort of nonsense from you in the future.

LOL this is a joke, hehehehe after we saw the 3 characters he has on the api code he reset his API code about 15-20 mins after he sent it for checking.
He stated that he was an old eve player and that he had lost the old account details and had to use this new character/account. Old players would know about Full and Limited API codes.
As you can see he has been kicked for a reason and is trying to name and shame Veyr for being cault and us taking the correct steps.
So quoting from the original thread "You have been warned!!!" dont take this guy in!!!!

"Sharing your API key, full or limited, does NOT give people access to your account. Sharing your account password would. The API key only allows the recipient to view your character and corporation data but gives them NO control over it. They are NOT able to log in to the game or post on the forums with the API information. The API key is in no way generated from your account password - there is no way to calculate your password using this information."
