There's a couple of possibilities. Very doubtful that one is no resources, so we'll eliminate that.
Your ability to see the resources will be limited by two things - your level in the particular scanning and related skills, and by the levels available on the planet you're scanning. My hunch, your inability to see anything (well) is due to the latter.
In high sec, I've noticed that the relatively low levels can be very hard to pick out on the planet, even with decent scanning skills (3-4 on all). When looking at the day-side of the planet (which, sadly, is most of it) the left end of the scan spectrum is extremely hard to pick out at times. You have to look on the sliver of night-side presented. Raising the scanning skills further may or may not improve this - and I'm tending to think likely not.
It definitely makes it challenging to place your CC and extractors. __________

Use a slider.
Some planets may still have too minuscule concentrations of particular resource for slider to help much, though.

Yes, everyone plox do this, k.
Man, what. First thing I do when I'm using a computer program is poke every little thing and see what it does. I found this on my own inside of ten seconds. Why can't everyone else? Or watch the tutorials? Or something? I dunno, full of burgers. |
